Not so relaxing

It was missing certain things like a washing machine backyard tooo dark inside not enough light but overall peaceful and beautiful

Owner's Response: This is a beautiful fully furnished, well lit large studio apartment. There is plenty of lighting throughout the apartment. It does not have a washing machine, but there is a nearby laundromat (less than a 5 minute walk away from the apartment.) This apartment is in the front of the building, therefore it does not have access to the backyard. But it does have a well lit front yard where you can relax and enjoy the night or morning air. Our goal and mission is to make sure that our guest have a wonderful and enjoyable experience when they come to New York. We are very open and accommodating. Any feedback that helps us make your stay the best experience it can be, is always welcome and appreciated. Thank you John

Poor.

The apartment in the photo was not the one we were given. Upon arrival we were told there was a mix up with another family. We were then told we would be moved into the apartment in the photo the next morning. This never happened. We were there for 5 days. On the third day John called and we were told that we could look at the other apartment and move if we wanted. It was never shown to us and we were not given the opportunity to change to the apartment in the photo.

The location was fine and quite. It was on third floor and the caretaker nicely helped us with our luggage.

The air conditioner thermostat did not work properly. The apartment was dated and not very clean. I would never stay here again or recommend to anyone.

Nice, comfy apartment

The 2 of us stayed 9 nights. Kitchen had everything we needed. Coffee shops, convenience stores/delis & restaurants close by. Nice neighborhood feel to the area. The bed & bedding were great-the sheets were really soft.

Quick trip to NY

The studio was perfect for a quick trip to check out schools for our son. The place was clean and the access to train was perfect. Would definately recommend again!

Nice kitchen in run down apartment

The owner was very helpful and accomodating. He helped us get a parking spot on the street the night we arrived.

Unfortunately the property requires a great deal of work to become suitable for rental:

1. The apartment entry door does not properly close.

2. An added air-conditioning unit is not properly mounted, and during the spring rains the noise will keep you awake at night.

3. When the rain stops you will still not be able to sleep because of the video games the neighbors play till late night.

4. The bathroom is the most run down piece of the apartment. Holes in the wall, wear and tear everywhere.

5. The kichen is very decent and well equiped.

The worst place we have EVER rented through VRBO/HomeAway. We felt like in a third world country, not in the Big Apple of USA.

Great stay!

Home was very close to subway! We had everything we needed for our stay. Neighbors were all friendly. We had a fun time exploring Brooklyn and Manhatten.
