Beautiful lakefront cabin built in 2008, 1500 sq ft, approximately 10 miles from I-85 at exit 173. Located in a quiet neighborhood on a low traffic street that is great for bike riding.
Bring your boat and use our large private covered boat dock with electricity and lights. Our home is located one street from a public boat ramp. The protected cove is excellent for fishing and safe for kids to swim. You can watch from the swing under the covered portion of the dock or sunning in the open area of the dock while the kids play.
Read a good book in a rocking chair on the large covered porch or relax on the large deck, each overlooking the lake. There is also a covered area near the open, shaded deck with ceiling fans for added outdoor comfort. Also a swing on the dock.
Home has 4 queen beds, 1 on main and 3 upstairs plus a crib/tobbler bed. Bath on main floor has a jetted tub that is great for relaxing. Hardwood floors throughout the house. Kitchen is fully furnished and has an island with 3 barstools (kids just love). Dining room has table with 8 chairs.

Owner built home for family to enjoy Lake Hartwell. Close to many attractions, towns and mountains with the convenience to I-85 for traveling. We loved the beautiful large lot, with gentle slope to the water and close to corp line.
Get back to nature. Sit on the porch and watch deer, squirrels, rabbits, birds and Canadian geese. Enjoy rocking in the chairs with a cup of coffee while watching the squirrels eat. Peaceful and quiet. Right on the water. Sit on front porch or patio and watch as fish are being caught from the boat dock.
Just spent a long weekend at Prince's Palace and it was perfect. The house has a wonderful long porch on the back with rocker's and chairs looking at the lake, we really took advantage of! The house was perfect for our crew and had everything we needed. At night we enjoyed a bon fire and making s'mores on the lower deck patio! The best part was it being pet friendly and it was perfect for our 2 Boston Terriors. Both the front porch and back porch had gates that locked, so we didn't have to worry about them escaping! Highly recommend and we will keep this rental on our all time favorite! Martha the owner was wonderful and in close contact to all of our needs, made you felt as if you were right at home!
Everything was so beautiful, very nice and relaxing.
Our family with 3 teenagers spent a full week in mid June at this beautiful and super clean home. The weather was very hot with mid 90's every single day. Everyone enjoyed slipping into the lake to cool off using the dock ladder. The home was so nice with all the woodwork, very clean and had everything we could possibly want. The boys fished every day and caught something each time. Fish not huge and only a few each trip but considering the temperatures can't complain. Also did a little trout fishing a short distance away in a mountain creek During the week it was very quiet in the cove and even out on the lake very few boats. House is nicely shaded with easy walk to water. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet place to relax.
We had such a wonderful time! It was so peaceful and quiet. The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. Mrs. Martha was so amazing. While we were there we had a storm that caused a power outage, we contacted her and the power company was out there within half an hour. We loved that we could bring our pet as well. The house, to be pet friendly, had no signs of any pet odors or anything of the sort! Our family wanted something low key and it was perfect!! We would definitely stay here again. My 10 year old son said that only two things would have made it perfect in his eyes.....a two story deck with a slide into the water and if they would have owned a boat and rented it with the house! The only "negative " comment I will make is that we didn't catch any fish....not even a nibble.
For the last 10 years, we have had an annual bass fishing trip held on various lakes in the southeast every spring. This year we did Hartwell and stayed at Prince's Palace. All four guys were completely satisfied with the accommodation, kitchen, dock, amenities. Miss Martha was extremely helpful from booking through departure. I have to say the mattress in the downstairs bedroom is the best I have slept on in over 30 vrbo's across the U.S.
Relaxing and Charming

My family has had a pretty stressful year and were in desperate need of a lot of R&R. We decided to do a mini-vacation over Christmas weekend. Prince's Palace was just what we needed. The weather was nasty outside but the house had everything we needed to keep the kids busy while the rain poured outside. The adults enjoyed coffee in our pajamas while watching the perfectly wooded scenery. Martha (the owner) was thoughtful, great to work with and ever so responsive. Thanks for giving us a place to enjoy some very precious moments together as a family!
