Great Stay!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I recently stayed at this great studio condo in the heart of Traverse City for a week. It was absolutely beautiful, comfortable, very quiet and centrally located. The charming shops and delicious restaurants located on the lower level made this the perfect location for our stay. The owners were professional, a pleasure to work with and very accommodating! Highly recommend! Thank you for a GREAT stay!

Second Time

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time to rent this lovely little condo in the Grand Traverse Commons. We found it to be quite comfy, quiet, and perfect for two people. My wife and I love the history of the old Northern Michigan Asylum, and this unit is right there. It's got all that you could need: full kitchen, cozy living room, cable TV and WiFi to stay connected. Be advised that the bed must be accessed by climbing a library type ladder. We had no problems with it, but it would not be advised for someone with mobility problems. The unit is located at the Grand Traverse Commons and with an elevator ride you can browse the shops or restaurants in the Mercato. It is also nice to stroll the outdoor campus or even hike one of the trails in the woods behind the complex. Being located near downtown Traverse City it is a great "home base" from which to launch out upon each day's events. A great choice for a couple for a week. We will be back!

Romatic Get Away

  • 5 of 5

This condo was wonderful! It has everything a couple needs for a romantic getaway. The owners have though of everything. We enjoyed the books they had there about the history of the State Hospital (where the condo is located) and many other popular titles. They also have folding chairs and a cooler that you could take with you to the beach. The residents we ran into in the halls were all very nice and helpful as well. All around it was a very enjoyable visit. We will be returning.

perfect!

  • 5 of 5

my husband and i stayed here for my 30th birthday weekend celebration in october. we have been to TC several times before, but it was our first experience renting from an owner like this. it was exactly as it looked in the pictures-clean, comfortable, cozy! we loved waking up in the morning and brewing a pot of coffee and sitting at the lovely kitchen table. the grounds are absolutely beautiful and we took advantage of our surroundings by doing some shopping, wine tasting (do not miss out on cinnamon girl cider from LFC), and a historic tour of the old buildings on the property. one of the evenings we ate dinner at stella, another must when you are in TC. it was so great to be only an elevator ride away from our destination! the bed was extremely comfortable-but do be aware that it is a bit of a climb to get up there. and just an extra bonus-the bath products were so luxurious. i wanted some of that shower wash to take home! we will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits. we felt spoiled...so much for a very reasonable price!
