Beautiful location with amazing views!

  • 5 of 5

For the past 15 years our three families gather together for a ski get-a way every season with all the kids. We love to cook, downhill ski, cross country ski, snowmobile and shop during our weekends away. We were able to do all of these things so easily from the beautiful Trout Lilly Farm. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds were super comfortable and there was so much room for everyone.

I can not speak highly enough of how well we were taken care of by our host Lizzie. She was attentive to every detail and went well out of her way to make sure any of our needs were met. We loved our stay here so much we have all agreed we will come back again!

Thank you again for letting us enjoy your beautiful home!

Fantastic - stunning views

  • 5 of 5

My family (including three year old twin boys) enjoyed an incredible week at this beautiful farmhouse. Liz is an amazing person - she is kind, helpful and caring....our boys still talk about her constantly! The boys really enjoyed playing in the 20 plus acres and interacting with the beautiful horses even more. The house is perfect and equipped with everything we needed...and more. We can't say enough about the house, property and/or Liz.........thank you for a fantastic and memorable vacation. We will definitely be back to enjoy Troutlily Farm again.

Home away from Home!!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home in the rolling hills of Waterbury with views of Mt Mansfield. Furnishings, kitchenware and appliances were top notch. Perfect venue for two families on a ski trip. Hot tub and woodstove in perfect running order. Best restaurant in the Stowe area is 1 mile away. Very Private. Owner was molto sympatico and extremely accommodating. We love you Liz!

Best Time Ever

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful property to vacation!!! Our stay at the farmhouse very memorable! We celebrated our engagement with friends and family surrounded by amazing views and fall foliage. The house was a perfect match for us with a beautiful kitchen that as a chef, made me feel right at home. Every room in the house was garnished with fresh flowers and a large bowl of fruit welcomed us in the kitchen. We look forward to coming back to stay again.

The location was perfect for us with a divine wine bar called Cork and one of my favorite restaurants Hen Of The Wood five minutes away.

Best,

C + J

Presidents Weekend - Huge Success!!!

  • 5 of 5

A group of 8 stayed at the house over Presidents Day weekend. I have to say this was an amazing house. Breathtaking views, well appointed house and an incredible hot tub made this trip a huge success and made me look like a hero when all the people arrived for the weekend. Liz was amazing. She made me feel like family. With the snow reports and recommendations on where to eat when we arrived, it truly helped me relax and have a fun weekend without the stress. She mentioned a restaurant called "Hen of the Woods". Anyone travelling up should definately try it out. The food was great and the atmosphere was even better.

The house is extremely comfortable and there is so much space that you don't feel like you are on top of anyone. Would be great for a couple families or a group of freinds. Liz goes beyond what is normal. I have rented a few houses in the past but have never been treated as well and this. She left organic meat from a local farm and a beautiful supply of fruits and vegetables. Also a detailed list of how to run everything in the house. The fireplaces were ready to go and the pool table is an added bonus.

I could go on all day but to be brief I could have just summed it up with only one word. FANTASTIC!!

You will not be disappointed.
