About Bob Alexander
Professional couple in the financial services and software industries with two college graduate children. Primary home is outside of Saratoga Springs. Bob, who recently retired, has been an Adirondack enthusiast for over 60 years.
Bob Alexander purchased this House in 2013
Why Bob Alexander chose Hadley
The couple truly loves the area and own two houses adjacent to the Foxrun property. Their 220 acre estate was accumulated over the past 20 years with the first home purchased 30 years ago. The 220 acres are pristine and contain wildlife diversity: fox, deer, racoons, wild turkey, pheasant, bald and golden eagles, bear, and other species. No hunting is permitted and signs are posted throughout the property.

Best Week Ever!
This was a wonderful rental experience! I usually jam pack my vacation days with things to do, but I didn't want to leave! Everything I love about fall in the Adirondacks, was right in our backyard. The house was huge, the beds were comfy, lots of land to for the kids to play, and a great kitchen. Bob, the owner, was very pleasant and helpfulm We would definitely reccomend staying here!
Family Fun Getaway
Staying at this house has given us many memories to share for years to come. The house was super clean and usable, cozy, and offered great space to play games and have family dinners. This was exactly what we wanted, and this was the perfect place for our trip.
On top of this experience there was beautiful hiking around the house and nice outdoor spaces for lounging, and lots of room to play catch or games in the yard. The house is situated for day trips to Saratoga and Fort Ticonderoga, and to hike two of the 46 peaks in the Adirondacks.
We highly recommend this place for a group getaway!
One of the best family weekends ever!
Our long weekend was one of the most enjoyable family get-togethers we have ever had. The house is spacious and well-appointed with room for a large family to dine, relax and play. Bob A., the host, is incredibly accommodating and friendly. We would definitely return to Fox Run if we have the opportunity.
Great place with lots of space and privacy
The place was very nice and spacious with enough rooms to keep everyone separated. The pool table was a nice touch and even had straight pool sticks. The deck was large and great for lounging in and the back year was good for the kids. Large wooded area in the back had a nice trail to hike up.
The lake was great. Had use of the dock, the floating dock, and the kayak, canoe, and row boat. Kept us entertained while there. Other reviewers mentioned the long walk to the lake. It is not too bad, but it is on a busy road, so just something to keep in mind as you might not want small kids to walk it alone.
Bob was very friendly and personable. He stopped by and called to make sure that we were settled in and had everything we needed.
I would stay here again. Only slight negative was we didn't have a dishwasher. It broke right before we got there and he couldn't get someone out to fix it. Was a bit of a bummer with 9 people worth of dishes each meal. Otherwise it was a great trip. Thanks Bob.
Week at the Lake
1st and second floor A plus - Great place for large gatherings. Plenty of public space. Grounds served us well. Enjoyed the playground area and the Fire pit - S'mores just right.
The basement is a basement but serviceable.
We had a great stay
