It is clean, wholesome, affordable and the local people are warm and friendly.
The house was perfect for our spring break trip. The house has two large den areas but we never used them. We spent most of our time outside in the pool or on the large porch, both of which were screened in. The kitchen was very well furnished and we cooked all of our meals in except for two. There was a large Jen-air gas grill that made grilling for a large group very easy. The adults had the queen and king bedrooms, the girls slept in the room with the trundle and the boys slept on the fold out sofa in the office room, which worked out great. The neighborhood was quiet yet very close to the beach, grocery stores, fish market, etc. We brought our boat and the location was perfect to get quick access to the gulf. Visited Cape Marco and the dome houses plus keewaydin island which are both beautiful places to spend a day. Would book this house again and again. Property manager was quick to answer our questions by text and would give great recommendations! If you are looking for a house that will accommodate two families and not feel at all cramped, this house will not disappoint!
Having last visited Marco Island in 2004 it was lovely to revisit and stay in such a wonderfully comfortable property. The location is fantastic being only a short bike ride to Tigertail Beach or South Beach and also the shops and restaurants of Marco Town Centre Mall. The bikes provided are very comfortable and allow for longer rides should you wish. The home itself is very comfortably appointed with everything you need for a wonderful couples or family vacation. Sitting eating breakfast or having coffee at the outdoor dining table on the lanai which faces East is just beautiful in the mornings, watching the sunrise over the water. If you can drag yourself away from home Doreen's Cup of Joe is just great for breakfast or brunch. The interior is well furnished with plenty of entertaining space between family room, formal lounge area, bar and dining room. The pool is very refreshing and well heated receiving sun for the majority of the day. The owners representatives on Marco are very responsive, helpful and very easy to deal with. We had a fabulous time and plan to return at some point in the future. Highly recommend this property.
My family of four enjoyed our stay at this great Marco Property! Very spacious home with a great family room/TV area that was not pictured. Matt was responsive to all our questions about the home. The beach is a short bike ride away as well as a place to view eagles and burrowing owls. The loved the convenience of the bikes, cooler and umbrellas for the beach. This home was well stocked with everything we needed and more. I would recommend this to any family looking for a quiet home to relax with kids. When we return to Marco this will be our place!!!
We loved the property! It was our 1st visit to Marco Island and we were not disappointed , golf , beach, nightlife, all were better than expected. The pool was a hit with the basketball hoop and ball , my 20 something children acted like kids again. The hot tub soothed my frozen bones, nice and warm. We loved the walk to the beach and took advantage of the bicycles, beach chairs and umbrella. This property had every thing we needed.
This home is exactly as advertised - spacious, yet cozy. It allows for privacy, but also for family moments together. It's nicely decorated, with furniture and appliances in good condition. It has all of the features we were looking for in a vacation home for a week - beach towels, bikes, beach gear (chairs, umbrella, toys), plenty of kitchenware, a wet bar with a blender, separate fridge, and wine cooler. It's got an awesome pool and hot tub in a private lanai area. Nice views of the sunrise in the morning. Nice stainless steel grill for cookouts. It's in a quiet, upscale neighborhood within a 15 minute walk of Tigertail beach.
Overall, the experience in checking in and out was seamless - those who manage the property are easy to contact and quick to respond before, during, and after your stay. They even helped provide a high chair and pack-and-play for our daughter (21 months old) at no extra cost - outstanding service!
Highly recommended - we may consider this same home again for future vacations if it's available.
The house is exactly as shown in the pictures, spotless, comfortable, spacious, with gracious support from Linda and Matt who, despite the vagaries of our delayed flight and late arrival, made us feel welcome and stocked the fridge for our breakfast. It had all the amenities down to the last details, including, in the garage, bikes for all of us, beach toys, an umbrella, a beach bag, a cooler to take to Tigertail beach, an easy fifteen minute stroll away. The pool and spa delighted the children daily, the separate master suite made for some parental privacy, the den allowed for adult downtime for work or meditation, the big screen TVs made for daily movie night (there is a Redbox DVD rental at the Publix 1089 N Collier Blvd), the barbecue made for great dinners. The well-appointed kitchen and the bar area became the nerve center for family life for a week. The dock allowed us to rent and moor a pontoon boat from Rose Marina, a great experience which made for memorable outings to Keewaydin Island, among others. The rental was worth every penny, as we spent quite a bit of time in the house, between other successful outings with a private guide from Tour the Glades, kayaking through the mangrove or hiking through Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park. We ate mostly “at home”, except for lunch at the Red Rooster, and dinner at Quinn’s at the Marriott, both good fare and plenty of atmosphere. A memorable vacation indeed, that got the thumbs up from every member of our family of five!
