About Patricia Barberio
Hello! My name is Patty and I would enjoy being your Host. I purchased this property in March 2012 and pretty much spent the next three months working with a general contractor to make improvements to the property and to gather information about the vacation rental business. I am a horse enthusiast and a dog lover. I love riding my horses and my dogs enjoy going on trail rides with me. I spent 24 years working for the Federal Government in the Washington, DC area before moving to NW Montana over 13 years ago. My home is also on the property of the vacation rental so I would be available to take care of any needs. I have been a small business owner and feel I have the common sense and compassion to make my vacation rental a pleasant place to stay for your experience in one of the most beautiful parts of the Rocky Mountains.
Patricia Barberio purchased this Cabin in 2012
Why Patricia Barberio chose Columbia Falls
When I first visited NW Montana in Dec 2001, I fell in love with the Columbia Mountain Range. I was not able to find a home in this area at that time. I had visited this property a few times in the past and had purchased a few horses from the original owners. When those folks moved on, I jumped at the chance to place an offer on the home and property. This has been my 'Haven' ever since.
What makes this Cabin unique
This Log Cabin was built in the 80's and was the original home on the parcel. Having the horse pastures close make for a very special view upon awakening - to see the horses grazing or staring at the house for me to come outside and feed them. Turkeys roost in the tall pine trees and an occasional fox has been known to trot by.

If I could live here, I would.
This is the best little cabin that you could ask for. The scenery is stunning and close to lots of adventures (if you feel the need to leave these beautiful 9 acres). The cabin contains everything that you need to be comfortable, from the wood stove, to picnic supplies, to shampoo and a hair dryer.
And if you do happen to need for anything, shops are close by and the owners are very thoughtful and accommodating. We loved it - thanks you Lynn and Patty!
We had a great time staying at the cabin! It was perfect for the two of us to come back and relax in after hiking and exploring each day. It was a little chilly out when we were there and the wood stove really made it a cozy feeling! It was also great to be able to make meals at the cabin each day rather than going out to eat. It is about 20-25 minute drive from the West Entrance of Glacier park and it is an easy drive. Lynn and her dog, AJ, were so nice and helpful as well. Columbia Falls is a cute little town as well. Thanks so much for the wonderful stay! I would definitely stay here again and recommend this cabin!
Beautiful, quiet cabin
A great little cabin to stay while visiting the National Park!
Cozy pet friendly cottage nestled in the bosseum of The West entrance of the Glacier National Park
This quaint two room cabin is perfect for two people and a small 🐶 dog or two ! Only thing I wish they had was a small area off the side of the cottage that was fenced in for the dogs to run in as the many free range 🐔 Chickens , peacocks and 🐱 kittens. There are also two 🐴 horses that you asked not to engage with. It was a little difficult to find even with GPS as there are no street signs. Luckily all the neighbors are very friendly and helped us find it. The kitchen is very well equipped and the sheets and towels are a plenty and of high quality. There is a grill on the deck and a little wood stove inside and huge piles of freshly split wood though out the grounds. Over all throughly enjoyed our stay and will would love to come back !
Perfect location for visiting Glacier National Park
We really enjoyed this cabin and location. We spent several days hiking, 4 wheeling and golfing in and around Glacier National Park, this location was close to everything. All the amenities of home, full kitchen if cooking in, washer and dryer came in handy too. 20 minutes to the national park and 15 into town where we found several good restaurants. Owner is great to work with and responds quickly to questions. The caretaker Lynn is so friendly and AJ (the ranch Doberman) was equally as friendly as were the peacocks and horses on the property. If you are looking for a quiet location close to the national park this location is perfect. Thank you for such a fun week!
A tranquil stay at Pine Haven Ranch
My wife and I had a wonderful 9 days at the beautiful ranch. The cabin was so comfortable, peaceful and well appointed.
Lynn with her dog AJ, were the perfect hosts. Each afternoon was wonderful watching the horses and deer while having a favorite beverage. Our stay was an absolutely memorable time.
Thanks again Patty and Lynn for letting us experience your serene wonderland in Montana.
