About Laurie Roberts
Lane and I are artists/craftsman/contractors who love nature, hiking, animals and working with our hands. We get a bang out of creating spaces, transforming ugly to beautiful and providing a place for people to unwind.
Laurie Roberts purchased this Cabin in 2011
Why Laurie Roberts chose Warner Springs
We looked for a long time to find a place that was semi remote that would be good setting for wilderness vacation rental and that had a fixer house on it. We found this 10 acres with adobe home built in the 40's, an old walnut grove and knew it was the one because of the beautiful view of the valley, it was surrounded by nature rather than neighborhood and it bordered on Cleveland National Forest land. We spent 2 years restoring/remodeling the house, putting in fruit trees and garden and in January 2013, came up with the safari tent concept as a vacation rental.
What makes this Cabin unique
Total privacy, fenced compound for your dogs, gorgeous view and incredible night skies. The tent opens at each end during the day and close it at night. Surrounding yourself with nature and it's sounds have a very relaxing effect that you cannot get in a walled in structure. The Japanese call this 'shinrin-yoku' which translates to forest bathing, or being surrounded by a forest environment which has been shown to improve mental and physical health.

My husband and I had the best weekend! We love the outdoors and enjoy camping at different spots. This is our first time glamping though and and now we’re hooked! I can’t believe how comfortable our stay was despite being under a tent! We enjoyed everything Camp Ribbonwood had to offer. It was so much fun to get a way from the chaos of everyday life and just enjoy each other. I highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Don’t forget to bring pizza ingredients. We had so much fun making pizzas both nights. The ultimate best part was hot tubbing it day and night. The clear night skies made star gazing so unreal. Thank you Laurie and Lane for hosting such an amazing spot! We can’t wait to visit again in the near future.
Home away from home!
We love Camp Ribbonwood!!! This is our second stay here and we hope we can continue to come back for many more years. The property is absolutely gorgeous and so homey. It has everything you will ever need. And we LOVE stargazing from the jacuzzi at night. We highly recommend stay at Camp Ribbonwood.
Like all the other reviews Camp Ribbonwood is a 5 star glamping experience. So much thought , care and Artistic touches really make it special.

Peaceful, beautiful and private
Such a wonderful escape into the country. Beautiful ribbonwood and manzanita groves, fun hiking, and quietness. Loved the safari tent set up. The heated mattress was needed at night...and so glad it was there. Definitely recommending to anyone looking to get away.
