You will not be disappointed by the #1 sunsets from your own private balcony, charcoal grill and plenty of outdoor seating; easy access to the beach or walk to popular John's Pass Village for shopping, dining, boat/ jet ski rentals, and fishing charters. The unit is fully stocked with linens, towels and kitchen necessities to make your stay comfortable. Washer/dryer in unit. Please note: stairs only, no pets and no smoking. NO parties/large gatherings. Strictly enforced max occupancy of 6.
Treasure Island is a great beach getaway destination and nearby St. Petersburg offers a lively downtown restaurant and bar scene and many museums including the world famious Dali museum. In the spring and summer catch a professional baseball game- the Rays stadium is about a 15 minute drive.

We had a great experience, both with Sandcastle Realty, Inc. and with the condo itself. The condo was amazing, décor was spot on, unit was clean and very well stocked. Sandcastle made the process quick and seamless. What a gem this condo was, we truly enjoyed it very much.
The only feedback I have to offer is to have better pictures of the unit listed on your website. This condo was above and beyond my expectations, the pictures certainly do not do this unit justice :

The house was amazing. My family had more than enough towels to visit the beach and shower daily. The owner made many considerations and supplied us with everything we needed to ensure we had a great and comfortable stay. The condo was beautifully furnished and the AC worked perfectly! The kitchen is gorgeous.
My only complaint is more so directed towards the rental company. The wifi did not work and we reported it to the rental company twice. One of the main criteria for our vacation home selection was internet accessibility. We spoke to a rep who informed us that they would send a tech out. Instead of sending an internet provider technician, they sent out one of their own maintenance techs who couldn’t resolve the internet issue. What could a maintenance technician do that we haven’t tried, like restarting the router? In any case, I wouldn’t know because I was never contacted for an update.
On the second day, we again called the rental company and it wasn’t until I firmly voiced my concerns did we get any resolution. It shouldn’t be necessary for it to take two phone calls and an angry customer for the rental company to resolve or even readdress the issue. I was under the impression during the second phone call that since the first technician couldn’t fix the issue, they just gave up. Again, I wouldn’t know because I never received any updates. Thank goodness the only issue I had was lack of internet connect, given the turnaround time it took for the company to address and resolve the issue.
I forgot to mention that the first two days in the unit was the holidays and we did not even make initial contact until the third day.
We've been coming to the Gulf beaches for 30+ years, grew up in Tampa and have stayed at literally 50 different properties up and down Gulf Blvd. Our most recent visit to SandDunes was by far one of the best properties we've stayed at. Perfect location, walking distance to shops and restaurants, secluded from the road and a wonderful view of the beach. We will undoubtedly be back and don't want to stay anywhere else but here moving forward.
Pros: Location was ideal. Close to beach. Rental agent was responsive to our needs. Quiet with friendly neighbors.
Cons: There was only 1 wash cloth in the condo and no way to obtain more over the weekend short of driving 15 minutes to Walmart. On Monday rental agent sent over 4 new washcloths, but that was hardly enough to last a week with 4 adults. Further, there were no kitchen dish clothes or towels. Same story. We went to Walmart and purchased our own. Bath and beach towels were well worn and could use updated. Perhaps owners did not know and cleaning crew never reported to anyone.
We had a perfect vacation! The pictures of the condo are a great representative of the facility. Lots of beach towels, lots of nice dishes/cookware, very clean and great location...VERY short walk to John's Pass. Definitely would go back!!!

Traveling North towards Clearwater on Gulf Blvd., you can visit The Bird Sanctuary in N. Redington Beach, Splash Harbor in Indian Shores, Clearwater Marine Aquarium to see Winter the dolphin.
Or, travel East on Central Avenue to visit Downtown St. Petersburg, Beach Drive for Chihuly and Art museum, specialty shops/boutiques, sidewalk cafe's and fine dining. Walk the beautiful marina, stroll through the HUGE banyan trees, or take a carriage ride; visit local craft breweries.
