This is a beautiful log home. It has three bedrooms plus loft and two full bathrooms. It sleeps 8 comfortably, 10 if you're all close friends. There are hardwood floors and cathedral ceilings around a gorgeous stone floor-to-ceiling fireplace. The kitchen is great and well stocked with updated appliances. There is a gas grill on the deck and stunning mountain views!
This is our family home that we very much enjoy using when we are not renting to guests. Because it's a log home, it has a lot of charm and Vermont 'warmth' to it. The logs and wood finishes throughout may have some aesthetics imperfections due to the aging of the logs, but we think this adds to the charm of the place.
Please come and relax. Enjoy the ski mountains (5 miles to Bromley), the horse show (5 minutes from the house in the summer) and all the amenities that the town has to offer including shopping, dining, and entertainment.
This house is exactly what we wanted! Well kept in a great location. Very fun place and we will be back!
Excellent location for a weekend ski getaway
We very much enjoyed our stay at your home. It was close to skiing, restaurants and shopping. The great room with the fireplace was a perfect gathering spot for all of us after a long day skiing.
My wife, our dog Finn, and I had another great stay in Manchester! Can't say enough about how much we enjoy staying at Patti's cabin. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and plenty big and the location is perfect to get you outside of Manchester enough to enjoy the quiet but still close enough for any town needs. The fireplace worked great and overall we highly enjoyed our stay yet again. Thank you Patti!!
My Family and I took this Dog Friendly rental for a 3 month Season. We were not expecting a place that smelled of a kennel and looked like an abandoned ,outdated, poorly maintained cabin. We immediately that day informed the owner Patti however had a terrible response to our concerns and refused to listen. The result being we were cheated out of a weeks lease, our security, our pet deposit and accused of existing damage. Being our vacation we rouged it out and we vacated the residence after 4 days paying for a full season in advance+ The home was dirty, outdated, overpriced and unsafe. We had a squirrel infestation in the middle of the night, which attacked our small child. Leaks in the bathroom ceiling from shower upstairs. The Carpet was disgusting and old with tears (she blamed on my well trained, well traveled pooch). The kitchen was poorly stocked with a broken dishwasher + faucet along with sparsely stocked, old utensils. No covers on exposed wire outlets. Broken Furniture! Linens provided were so old they should have been thrown away, but we brought our own.The Chimney Flu is (or was) broken and they stuffed it with a quick fix solution of asbestos type filler , which didnt work and allowed in critters. The smoke was terrible and filled the home to a gasping effect.I guess luckily the 1 smoke detector didnt work so it didnt go off and drive us even more crazy. Even the laundry room was something out of a horror film with a bizarre and gross apartment attached to it. The "included plow service" never showed up until 2 days after we got there making a very unsafe condition and my 4x4 could not get up the driveway. List goes on. Seems the place had been neglected and the owner didnt care. We have rented for over 12 years and never experienced the poor management and gross conditions of this home. Looking at the reviews post our departure it seems she took our list and made some improvements for the tenants after us. Lucky for the next renters. We were told we'd receive our security deposit back in within 10 days and it's been since January with No reply since Feb and she's still renting it! I have nothing positive to say about this home, even the walls are stained with old water damage. As a seasoned renter I can say look elsewhere or lower your expectation. If you like camping indoors-this is the place for you. Again.-Renter Beware! I'm only giving it 1 star because it won't allow a 0 star rating Negative if possible! Gross Describes this Property Best!

Each summer Manchester hosts an amazing international horse show. The house is only a couple of minutes from the show grounds. Additional activities include: walks in the woods, hikes, gulf, kayaking, river tubing, pond swimming, fishing, picnics, theater, and music festivals - the possibilities are endless.
If you like fine dining or family style, there are many chef owned and unique restaurants in town. How about pampering? Spas, yoga, massages, hair and nails; check out the many resort amenities in town that are open to the public. If shopping is your thing, there are outlet stores nestled in and among boutique shops and art galleries.
The town is so pretty! If you want to experience a bit of Old New England, head up to the village area where you can visit the Robert Todd Lincoln estate and then have a drink on the porch of the historic Equinox Hotel. After, take a walk along the gorgeous marble sidewalk and marvel at the mansions, some with old carriage houses all beautifully restored and maintained.
Manchester is close to the ski resorts that in the off-season offer golf, horseback riding, music, hiking, and the alpine slide among other activities.
Whether you want to relax in the beautiful home, or get out and visit the town, there is something for everyone. As the locals like to say, 'Relax, this is Vermont'.
