Grand Pavilion 136 is the perfect location for your family to create memories that will last forever. The first thing that you will see after arriving for your family vacation at Grand Pavilion 136 is its perfect location. Located in the heart of Wild Dunes, Grand Pavilion 136 is ideally located on a croquet lawn with only one home between it and the ocean. Your family will spend hours on the well shaded and beautiful deck off the living room where palmetto trees will great you as you look out onto the manicured lawn. Children love running barefoot on the croquet lawn which is perfect for croquet or maybe a family football or soccer match. In contrast, the upper deck off the master bedroom offers plenty of sun and views of the Atlantic.
Your walk to the ocean is brief from Grand Pavilion 136 as you journey down the croquet lawn and in front of the Grand Pavilion Boardwalk. Once on the beach, you will experience Wild Dunes at its best. Beach chair and umbrella rentals are available in front of the Grand Pavilion or you can grab a cool drink at the café or bar located oceanfront on the Boardwalk. Two swimming pools are also located oceanfront on the Boardwalk for you and your family to enjoy and during the summer season, nightly entertainment is offered under the stars.
Grand Pavilion 136 was originally designed to be a bed and breakfast where unrelated guests could stay in the home together. Because of this unique design, ever bedroom has a full bath, cable television, telephone and environmental controls. This makes it perfect for large families that are travelling together where everyone can be together in the living areas, but have everything that might need to be comfortable in their bedroom.
The home at Grand Pavilion 136 was recently purchased and major improvements were just completed by a well known local professional decorator. Improvements included granite countertops, new appliances in the kitchen, new carpeting and painting throughout the home. Each room looks fantastic with all new furnishings and bedding. Grand Pavilion 136 is an amazing home and will create lifelong memories for you and your family.

The Isle of Palms, like all barrier islands, has a dynamic beach near the inlet that separates the island from Dewees Island. The ebb and flow of the changing tides, through the inlet, creates and moves sand bars just off shore. These sandbars will channel waves between them, resulting in the massive buildup of sand along portions of the island where other areas may develop temporary erosional hot spots. These hot spots will feature a sand beach throughout the day outside an hour or so before and after high tide. Where a dry sand beach may be limited in these few areas at high tide, walking either direction will lead to an area where the sandbars have created an expansive beach to enjoy at any tide.

It was very nicely decorated! The rooms were spacious and we had lots of room! The only thing was there were a lot of stairs to climb. Should have thought about that when we rented the house. Other than that it was a great house! Very close to the boardWalk and the ocean.
We couldn't be happier with our vacation this year! This is a beautiful home, nicely decorated, and in an awesome location. The Grand Pavilion area of Wild Dunes is easy access to all of the resorts amenities and a very short walk to the beach. The porch is nice to sit & relax in the morning & evening. The lawn was a good area for games (we played corn hole & bocce) after a day at the beach. The house is equiped with everything you need for the week, was very clean & well prepared upon our arrival, has lots of space & the bedroom configurations, especially nice for travelling with 2 families with teenagers, was perfect.
Beachside Vacation Realty was excellent to work with and customer service fantastic. Super easy online booking process, and ongoing communication was very helpful as we prepared for our trip.
Location is convenient to drive into Charleston, local attractions & the Isle of Palms Marina of water sports & parasailing. Quick drive to Sullivan's Island for dinner a few nights.
This is our 2nd time in this home & we've already booked for next year!
Our family rented this home for a week in July. The layout of the home was great. The kitchen table accommodated our group nicely and we loved playing games there in the evenings. We loved the porch and the close proximity to the beach.
The only negatives for this house were the beds. They were super uncomfortable! They were too firm and needed some better linens.
