We love the wine country and Sonoma in particular. Our Sonoma home provides us with the life we enjoy when we are not at home in Milwaukee.

We love Sonoma, wine, and living and the San Francisco Bay area.
Relax and enjoy the good life while being close to everything if you ever want to leave the property.
This was our second stay at this marvelous country estate. Feels so much like being transported to Tuscany! We love, love, love the multiple, beautiful and enjoyable gathering places around the property. We love feeling like we are a guest, not a renter. The beauty of the furnishings and the setting combine to make this a home I want to return to again and again.
Thank you so much for sharing this special place with us!

This property was truly perfect for our family vacation! The home had plenty of space for all 8 of us, very clean, and had all the amenities needed. Check in and check out is very simple. It is very close to the center of Sonoma where you can find many restaurants, shops, and super markets. While also being secluded enough for some privacy. We absolutely loved the country feel to it and were even welcomed by a family of deer when we arrived! The weather was a bit chilly/rainy during our stay so we couldn't enjoy the pool/jacuzzi area but definitely took advantage of the upstairs patio area during the sunny moments. The views are incredible!
The only comment I would make would be concerning the guest house as the door was super difficult to open and close but that may have been due to the cold weather as it is located under the home. Otherwise, we had no issues. The kitchen is wonderful and has all the pots, pans, condiments, etc that you would ever need. We used the fireplace multiple times which worked great. They even have some board games in the living room which was a plus! Overall, I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a place in the Sonoma area. We can't wait to go back!
We entered the property to see a quaint vineyard, a creek, and beautiful gardens on the property. There was ample outdoor seating as well. The main house was lovely and clean. However, the guest house was musty and buggy from the rain - that being said, Sandra was quick to bring over cleaners to rectify.
I was very happy to have found this house after looking at so many in both the Napa and Sonoma areas. The house was absolutely perfect for four couples to relax and enjoy both the area and each other's company. The house was quite spacious, and there were plenty of amenities to enjoy. The grounds and view were breathtaking. I was very pleased with the service I received from the manager, as she went out of her way to accommodate and help us get comfortable. I would highly recommend this house and would love to stay again.
We had the pleasure of renting this wonderful home for a week. It was a perfect March weather week with temps in the 70s, so we were able to enjoy all the great outdoor space. After full days of wine tasting, we looked forward to coming back to the house to relax. We dined every night at one of the outdoor tables, relaxed in the hot tub, and sat by the fire in the outdoor fireplace for hours. Although the house is in the heart of the town of Sonoma, we felt like we were in the middle of the country because there is open land surrounding the house with no neighbors in sight. We cooked all of our dinners at home so it was really great to have such a well stocked kitchen with all the spices and utensils that you could want. We truly enjoyed our time at this home and look forward to returning again in the future.
Wow – I’m glad we did not pass up this house because of one bad review. I see that there was an issue with the renter per the response. Having had a VRBO property in the past I understand that some folks use the reviews as a way of getting even if the owner is charging the renter additional cleaning fees for a house not left in good condition. We did not have any of the issues listed. The house was very clean. It is a rental house not a place people live in when not rented.
However, we had a wonderful stay. I hope we can come back in the summer to really enjoy the outside. The pool area is beautiful, but with so much rain in January we could not make use of all the great outdoor space to relax and enjoy outside dining. We were very comfortable inside with lots of space for the kids and adults in a separate living area. The kitchen is well stocked for our chefs. The house is nicely situated to get to the plaza ( about a mile walking ) and to the wineries about 10 minute drive in any direction. It only took us 30 minutes to get to the Napa Wineries and Yountville. We did find many nice restaurants in Sonoma. Did not need to go to Napa. We especially liked the Fig Café in Glen Ellen which Sandy recommended as a nice locals place. Plus no corkage!!!
All the beds were comfortable with laundered linens, very nice touch, like a hotel room. Having a washer and dryer was perfect as we did get very wet walking to the plaza. Just when we thought it had stopped raining for a while.
Sandy was most helpful with easy check in procedures and immediate follow up. Our group would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to enjoy the wine country feel of the Sonoma Wine Country.
