If youre considering ski chalets in Switzerland for your next holiday, its hard to beat the location of this Zermatt rental. Challet Pollux offers scenic views of the village and surrounding mountains, just 200 meters (220 yards) from the Matterhorn Express base lift station.
From every corner of this magnificent home, you and your guests can enjoy the spectacular scenery. A wooden deck and hot tub provide ample space from which to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. Ask your villa specialist about decadent catered options available at Pollux.
Custom wood cabinetry and stainless steel appliances in the modern open kitchen create a sleek and stylish feel. The dining and living areas enable the chef of the evening to join in the conversation and laughter as your group unwinds on plush sofas around the wood stove. Modern conveniences such as flat-screen TVs, satellite television and Wi-Fi access are also included.
Four well-appointed double bedrooms sleep up to eight guests. Each bedroom is accompanied by an en-suite bathroom, and three of the bedrooms have balconies. The large double beds are comfortably dressed with duvets, and can be set up as two twin beds upon request.
The Matterhorn Express base lift station and resort run provides a street level tunnel which leads you to an elevator built inside the mountain. From the elevator it is a two minute walk to the property, and you can leave your skis and boots in the tunnels ski room. For larger groups, consider booking Pollux in combination with the neighboring chalets, Castor and Gemini , both available through Luxury Retreats.

We really enjoyed our first chalet rental experience - the space worked very well for the 8 people in our party and the location, near one of the lifts, was very convenient. With a ten day stay, it was nice to be able to make breakfast "at home" and to have living space to enjoy apres ski. Nicki Husband, our chalet manager, was very responsive and helpful with a few reservations, grocery shopping, lift ticket purchases, train station transfers. and general information. She was very cheerful and helpful! Our only suggestion would be to have more supplies in the chalet - bars of soap, TP, paper towels, etc.
