Welcome to our tropical island retreat. The tranquil vacation abode is conveniently located in sunny Kihei across from a stunning, white sand beach, Kamaole II. You can walk to the beach from the condominium in Kihei Kai Nani, a magnificently-landscaped, low-rise condominium resort on the leeward, dry side of Maui.

Great for a romantic getaway, the designer-decorated interior features cool tile floors, ceiling fans, and a Polynesian theme. Comfortable furnishings from all over the world provide the look and feel of a South Seas haven. Just outside are lush flower gardens and palm trees that are home for colorful tropical songbirds.

After a glorious day of swimming, surfing, or relaxing on the beach, stroll to the many nearby shops and restaurants. Dine out, rent snorkel gear, or buy groceries without having to get in your car. Or prepare your own meals in the gourmet-equipped kitchen. All of the tools and utensils needed to make the most elegant meals are provided. An outdoor gas barbecue is available and twilight dining on the lanai is perfect for enjoying those warm tropical evenings.

The large swimming pool with lounging deck is nearby as are paths, parks, and beaches for walking, jogging, and cycling. Secluded beaches for snorkeling and sunbathing are just minutes away as well as several golf courses such as the world-renowned Wailea Golf Club. To unwind and pamper yourself there is the Wailea Massage and Body Care.

For those who enjoy dramatic scenery Haleakala National Park, Iao Valley State Park, and the breathtaking Hana Highway offer memorable sightseeing, hiking, and exploring. In the winter months humpback whales can be observed frolicking right off of Kamaole II Beach.

My grandmother took me to Hawaii when I was 10 years old and I fell in love for the first time, with a place. Maui is still my first love and I visit every year.

2-The bedroom is very warm since the air conditioner does not go that far.

It was one of the best value I found.

It is not a luxury place but it dit accomodate a family of 3.

Quiet, close to the beach, good condo, great price, walk to shopping

The condo is older so if you have to have brand new forget it. That being said of all the places we have stayed this had the best equipped kitchen, we love to cook. There is even a coffee press and bean grinder. The bedroom and living rooms ceiling fans are of great quality. Quiet and no need for the air conditioner and were from Alaska! We loved the floor tile. The furniture was great including the new couch. If you need to watch TV/movies great big flat screen. Great beach chairs. Along with an umbrella, toys for little ones, beach towels. We loved the secure key holder so no keys at the walk to beach. I could go on and on but we will come back enough said. Now for the owner, Melodie. She is great! She was very easy to work with and very quick to respond. In closing check the price, location, amenities, and you will agree this place rocks. Thank you Melodie for sharing your great condo with all who stay.

Delightful and convenient Maui abode!!

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Melodie's Maui condo. It is a wonderful location across from one of the very best beaches in South Maui. Love Kamole Beaches...there are actually 3 within walking distance. Entertainment, a fabulous natural foods store, and local restaurants conveniently located within walking distance or a short drive.

The grounds are very nicely kept up; the Office Manager is great and welcomed me with mangoes from her garden every morning. Such Aloha!

The condo is well furnished with all you could want for a comfortable stay including all kinds of dishes and cooking utensils, beach towels, boogie boards, and beach novels! Be sure to check out the lending library near the pool.

The pool area is very well kept and it is generous size, so you can actually swim short laps!

I am a frequent Maui and Hawaiian island visitor - I even own a library card. I highly recommend this condo for your next Maui island visit.

The location is PERFECT. Unfortunately the couch is totally worn out, and for the price having two 4" foams on top of the mattress is not acceptable.

Owner's Response: Aloha Future Guests, New Sofa sleeper delivered on 4.27.17. Photos to follow. My condo is the best price for the location on Maui. I'm sorry to hear my guest in March was unhappy with the previous sofa. It was only 18 months new, but my guests comfort is very important so I purchased a new hide-a-bed sofa. The foam mentioned in this review was used to add extra cushion to the sofa sleeper, but not required with new sofa, just additional cushion if desired. Mahalo, Melodie Owner

Wouldn't stay here again

Been to Maui (Kihei) 9 times. This has been the most disappointing condo. Air conditioner doesn't work, plug in bathtub doesn't work, hot water lasts 5 min, shower taps are backwards, old furniture, broken floor lamp, overall condo needs updating and maintenance. But I will say kitchen seemed to be well stocked.

Please know that I am always available to help. I have owned my condo for 14 years and make every effort to keep it affordable for guests and comfortable for your stay. Guest comments are very important to me. My condo at Kihei Kai Nani #267 offers the best price per night in the complex and I look forward to renting to new guests that are looking for a convenient location and a great deal, 150 feet to the beach. I have addressed all comments made by guest Sharon S. 1. The Water Heater temperature has been turned up to provide longer hot water time. 2. The AC has a 30 min timer and shuts off automatically which is not broken, but instead a feature to protect the guests from excessive electrical charges. 3. The condo was built in 1970, and perhaps that is the "why" for the Hot and Cold knobs positioning in the shower. 4. The TV is 18months new. The furniture mentioned are antiques from Asia, professionally decorated by a designer to provide a south-sea feel. The bed and mattress are not antiques, but modern and comfortable.
