Located in a small valley within walking distance of Bonnieux village, this beautiful Provencal luxury property provides breathtaking views of Luberon. The stone walls of this stunning cliff side residence hearken back to an earlier era of romance and bucolic charms. Les Restanques de Bonnieux is also close to many vineyards and wine tasting opportunities as well as a variety of culturally rich historical sites.
Down a few steps from the house is the expansive heated pool, together with twelve wrought iron loungers, a large parasol and a shower. A summer kitchen with grill, stove, fridge and dishwasher is situated right next to the pool and lounging area. Among the landscaped gardens, guests will also find a boules court to help whittle away the hours. Indoors, you will find a fully equipped home entertainment system, Wi-Fi access, a game room and a library.
Several indoor spaces, including a salon with fireplace, a games and TV room as well as a dining room, offer many options to congregate. The fully equipped kitchen will make entertaining a pleasant experience, and the vaulted cellar is at hand for select local wines. The kitchen opens onto two terraces, one large with a fountain and a plane tree, and both with large iron tables. Alfresco dining by the fountain, rock wall and vines creates an elegant tone for soulful dialogues.
Six exquisite bedrooms accommodate up to thirteen guests at Les Restanques de Bonnieux. The bathrooms are pristine and modern. Fine beddings help assure a cozy night of rest. One of the bedrooms provides direct access to a terrace.
During your stay at Les Restanques de Bonnieux, recommendations for nearby day trips include Isle Sur La Sorgue, a picturesque town built around a series of canals, and the village of Apt where you might charter a hot air balloon ride at Montgolfiere Vol Terre. Golfers will be excited to be in proximity of several excellent courses including Golf de Servanes, Golf de Pont Royal and the Provence Country Club. Youll have sweet memories of the subtle fragrance of lavender on the breeze for years to come!

The house was very well equipped and very nicely decorated. Some of the bedrooms could have been dusted better with cobwebs found under furniture. We didn't think the twice weekly cleaning was very thorough at all. The bath towels are very large and plush but too big to wash in the tiny washing machine. Linens should be changed at least once for those staying a week.
The pool and outdoor kitchen were wonderful. The view from all windows was spectacular. There are many outdoor seating areas to choose from all overlooking the Luberon Valley. Bonnieux and the surrounding villages were charming and we found many fabulous restaurants. We enjoyed the Friday market in Bonnieux. This is a great place to spend a holiday.
the house worked extremely well with the only irritant being the organisation re-cleaning. we had clearly indicated what we wanted and were surprised to find that the contractual cleaning hours did not materialise until we raised it after the first week. It just about balanced as our girl could not make the last Thursday so we had 3 hours under the contract but lost 2 of our own which was fine but could have been avoided. Other observations on what was a well equipped and comfortable property was that the upstairs outdoor wooden seating area was in a poor state with some chairs broken. we then asked the gardener to bring up the seating from near the pool area. Finally I would recommend a replacement of the barbeque - for rental cost should be of a higher standard. Small issues in what was a very successful 4 weeks.
We recently returned from a week's stay at Les Restanques de Bonnieux in Provence. The six-bedroom house is absolutely fabulous! The views from the property are stunning and there is a fabulous seating area from which we watched the sunset every night. The pool area is perfect for lounging and a cool dip in the afternoon. The house has everything and we were warmly received. The best vacation ever!
