The most striking feature of VillaVibio is its fabulous scenic setting. Perched on a hilltop in the rolling countryside near Todi, it enjoys a stunning 360 degree view of the surrounding farm land and distant valleys.
Approached by a long gravel drive, the villa is set on a hilltop and affords 360-degree views of the countryside. During your stay, take a walk through the manicured gardens, have a swim in the round pool, read or nap on the verandah and sample local specialties at the outdoor dining area. In the evening, play a game in the billiards room or browse via Wi-Fi. For your convenience, theres a pool house and laundry facilities on the property; a fence surrounds the beautiful gardens to ensure privacy.
This traditional stone farmhouse has been recently furnished with impressive pieces of contemporary art and stylish furniture, in contrast with its stone walls and archways and wooden-beamed ceilings. The panelled walls and the graceful staircase make the wood a key feature throughout the house. The five bedrooms at Villa Vibio are decorated with bright colors and vivid patterns, from floral fabrics to Middle Eastern motifs. There is one bedroom with a king bed and an en-suite bathroom, and two bedrooms with double beds and en-suite bathrooms. A fourth bedroom has three single beds and an en-suite bathroom, and the fifth bedroom has a double bed and a bathroom.
From the villa, its just over 5 miles to the grocery store, shopping, the town of Todi and the nearest highway exit. Theres also a restaurant 4 miles away, and a tennis court, horseback riding and a spa and salon 3 miles away. Its a 22-mile drive to Orvieto, and a 40-mile drive to Assisi. The Perugia airport is 31 miles away, the Rome airport, 105 miles, and the Florence airport, 121 miles.

Our entire family was very pleasantly surprised to see the Villa in person having only seen it in photos. The photos did not lie, it was exactly as it was presented to be. The staff, chef, manager were all extremely pleasant and our experience with them was superb. Even the motorized robot who mowed the lawn became a part of our team, go Alfred.... Our only regret is that we stayed only one week. In a place like this you need to stay a month.
Beautiful setting high in the Umbrian hills near Todi and Montecastello di Vibio, walking distance to Doglio. Well-maintained. Charming decor. Nice pool.
My wife, four children and I enjoyed our one-week stay at Villa Monti very much. It was secluded enough to ensure privacy, but close enough to small villages like Doglio (5 min) and to Todi (15 min) to be convenient for necessities. The villa had an air of old world charm: an elegant study and library, a game room with billiards table, and comfortable living and dining areas. A number of personal momentoes in the study and other areas reflected the cultured tastes of the owners. (Some of the artwork in the bathrooms was a bit risque!) The well maintained pool and lawn areas were great for relaxing, and the views of the surrounding countryside were fabulous. Only complaints were about the lack of regular maintenace of some of the equipment; we spent the first three days with the dishwasher not working, the dryer needing a major cleaning of its filter, and with the shower drain in the master bath suite clogged and requiring a plumber to come and fix it.
