Set on a hilltop among evergreen trees and neat hedges, villa Bellavista lives up to its name. The six-bedroom, two-story villa looks out on traditional gardens and a freeform inground pool. Climb its four-story tower for panoramic views over the Tuscan countryside around Pisa. The main house boasts five bedrooms, but you can also sneak away to the one-bedroom annex for a more private Italian retreat.
Start the day with a stroll down the gardens geometric paths and dine al fresco at the table and chairs in the courtyard. Head down a set of stairs for a dip in the private pool, or up to the tower to take in the unforgettable landscape. Prepare lunch or dinner on the outdoor grill. At night, light a fire in the fireplace and play a few rounds in the billiard room.
Inside, antique furnishings like gilded-edge mirrors, bergere chairs and carved sideboards set an elegant tone, while arched doorways and tall windows let in plenty of Tuscan sun. The living room comes with a fireplace and satellite TV for a cozy evening in. High ceilings and modern amenities in the fully equipped kitchen make cooking a pleasure; serve up fare from the local markets at the dining rooms table for ten.
The main villa has two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom with shower, and two twin bedrooms that can be converted to doubles, one with an en-suite bathroom with bathtub. A fifth bedroom has a pull-out bed thats suitable for teenagers. The separate annex has a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with shower.
Outside your hilltop retreat, both horseback riding and tennis courts are nearby. Bellavistas location in the town of Crespina makes it a convenient base for exploring the area: Pisa and its airport are just 20 miles away, and Florence, Lucca and Siena are easily accessible. To the west, the Marina di Pisa beach and the shores of the Mediterranean are only 30 miles away.

We had a fabulous 2 week stay as a party consisting of two families with children at the beautiful Villa Bellavista in Crespina. Bellavista indeed! The view from the villa is stunning, a view we sat admiring each and every evening beneath the sunset. We found the location to be excellent with many places to visit and relax all with the hour: Pisa, Florence, Lucca, Cecina, the beach etc. The villa is a beautiful old villa full of charm and period features, lots of room for the 8 of us indoors and out for us all to sit, eat, chat and have fun. A glorious summer vacation! This is an old villa and we loved it, if you expect a 21st century fitted kitchen and power showers then this is not the villa for you, everything worked well for our party of 8 and in keeping With the whole villa experience. The pool and the gardens were fantastic and the large brick BBQ was heavily used! All in all a fantastic holiday!
We had a wonderful time! The villa was absolutely perfect. The on-site care takers took great care of us. Lisa was very helpful setting everything up and making sure I had all my questions answered prior to the trip. D’Anita was very helpful with all the extra activities we requested. Overall it was a wonderful experience.
We find a good villa for our event. We and all of our guest were vere pleasure and thinking about our holiday everyday. sea ??of emotions and impressions. Everybody want to return to Italy.
