Elisabeth Neveu-Champetier purchased this studio in 2013
The apartment was beautiful. We stayed for 10 days and enjoyed wandering the streets of Paris knowing that we would return to 26 Rue Veron each evening. It is right in the centre of Montmartre with easy access to fresh food, try the pastries just round the corner. Elisabeth was a lovely host, nothing was too much trouble. We certainly enjoyed a few glasses of red in the delightful courtyard. Thank you Elisabeth. Sue & Brian (Australia)
My Partner and I just recently stayed in this lovely apartment for our short little visit. The apartment was lovely and very comfortable. Extremely close to just about everything one could need and some really amazing restaurants and extraordinary Paris sights. The owner Elisabeth was lovely and very helpful to work with. She bought us a beautiful bottle of wine which we never got to enjoy because we were out and about so much exploring the opportunity didn't arise. What a lovely stay comfortable bed which led to us having a wonderful time in Paris. Thanks again for the stay we will certainly stay here again on our next visit- hopefully soon. Cheers..
My husband and I spent 2 months - August and September - in this apartment. We come to Paris frequently and without question this was the most well designed, user-friendly small space we have rented. It was clean, all appliances in good working order, comfortable bed and surprisingly bright for an apartment on the rez-de-chausee. The courtyard with its circle of plantings and small table gave us a lovely additional living space. Elisabeth was responsive and friendly. Metro, all shops, Monoprix nearby. Paris is a walking city and we walked almost everywhere from our base. A word of warning - the courtyard location can be very noisy in August - people come and go, windows are open, music and conversations are audible. But all things considered, this one is hard to beat.
We stayed here for 2 weeks and made it our oasis. This apartment is located in a great area with easy access to all that Paris has to offer. A 2 minute walk got us to anything we needed whether it was food, wine, cheese, etc. The Grenier Pain boulangerie is rated as having the best baguette in all of Paris this year. Lucky us, it was just around the corner and the baguettes did not disappoint. The metro is close by, within a few minutes walk. If you enjoy walking, all the major attractions are reachable on foot. The charming courtyard was an excellent place to relax; we enjoyed many glasses of wine with our meals there. When we come back to Paris we will definitely try to book this apartment again.
My wife and I agree with all the positive comments. Of our several stays in apartments in Paris this one wins the first price. Spacious, fully equipped kitchen, powerful shower, comfortable bed, etc. Most locations in Paris are charming, bur this one is exceptional. Famous Rue Le Pic and Rue des Abbesses just around the corner are teeming with food places: deliciously stocked bakeries and patisseries, butcher shops .
, fresh fruit and vegetable places, and ,of course , wine shops. The number of restaurants and cafes will leave you with l'embarras du choix. Elizabeth , a lively and friendly hostess recommended "Ma Biche" a couple doors down on Rue Veron. The food, gourmet and organic, was delicious, and did not break the bank. We highly recommend La Petite Maisonnette. Merci, Elizabeth. Maurice and Mary
