Great open and welcoming house

  • 5 of 5

Perfect location for our family reunion of 7 ! Lots of open areas in the house for being together and finding quiet space. Big kitchen and wonderful screened in deck was our favorite places to gather! Also the privacy of the setting and views enhanced our experience. We made use of some cultural and natural events in the area but spent a lot of time together in this very nice house!

A really great place in the heart of the birkshires

  • 5 of 5

We were fortunate enough to stay at this lovely home for most of September and part of October 2015. It is extremely comfortable and well equipped. The screened porch is fantastic for meals, entertaining or just relaxing and watching the deer, turkeys and all the other wildlife that live in the area. Lisa is a wonderful host. Any question or information we asked about was made available immediately. We would recommend this home to anyone who would like a great place to stay that is private but near everything. Thanks again

We love this house!

  • 5 of 5

My family has stayed at the house twice, both times in the winter. The house is lovely - airy, clean, with beautiful views and pretty furnishings. It has everything one wants to have at home to be comfortable, including a well equipped kitchen, a wood burning stove, TV, lots of towels, games, books, comfortable beds. The list could go on. The owner is a pleasure to deal with, very attentive, helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend this house to a friend - in fact, we had a couple of friends visit us for a day both times we stayed, and they loved the house, too. Butternut and Catamount ski areas are 15 minutes away, and in the summer, Tanglewood and theaters are close. Or, in the winter, there is something about staying inside, sipping hot chocolate by the fire and watching the snow fall... Highly recommended!

Well-appointed house with great views!

  • 5 of 5

This house is beautifully laid out and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We had three young kids with us who loved walking around and exploring the house. The location of the house is central to a lot of local attractions. Lisa was very responsive and helpful from our initial outreach through our time up at the house. We had a minor issue with the wi-fi our last day at the house and Lisa went out of her way to help us fix it and was extremely apologetic. It was overall a very comfortable stay and we would definitely look to rent it again if we return to the area!

We vacationed there for Thanksgiving, it was very relaxing. The kids had a great time. The house is comfortable and it has everything you need. Lisa has a lot of patience and is very understanding. It is a house that has breathtaking views any time of the year. I can't wait to go there again.
