About ilmar Reinvald

One owner is a retired architect, artist and an avid hunter. The other owner is also an artist and a ski and fitness enthusiast.

Why ilmar Reinvald chose Enumclaw

We built this home at Crystal River Ranch for its remoteness from civilization, yet still being reasonably close for the necessities and luxuries of life and 20 minutes drive from base of Crystal Mountain ski area. SEATAC Airport and Tacoma are a 90 minute or less drive. For weekly grocery shopping and movies, Enumclaw is a 25 minute drive. The historic Natchez Tavern and some shops and restaurants in Greenwater are less than a 10 minute drive.

What makes this lodge unique

The many natural wood surfaces and the fireplace create the warm ambiance in the interior of Antlers Lodge. We enjoy stepping out of the Lodge and feeling like we are away from it all. The dense trees give a feeling of privacy and security. The upper part of our property has been designated a part of an elk conservation area. Elk wander past our house on a regular basis. Coyotes, bobcats and bears have also been seen, but less often. It is fun to watch the game, you never know how many elk may wander by! Antlers Lodge has a stand by generator which will restore electrical power in case of power outages. Attractive, comfortable home in a beautiful setting.

  • 5 of 5

Seven members of our family arrived fairly late at night this August. Entrance was easy using the information provided. The place is delightful: kitchen well-stocked with dishes and utensils, excellent beds, attractive décor. Everyone in the group remarked on how nice the place is. The entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park is close, Crystal Mountain Ski Area is even closer, and the roads are easy. The owner was very helpful providing information before our arrival.

Awsame vacation time again!

  • 5 of 5

This is our second time stay in this beautiful lodge.

All the equipment was functional, clean and comfortable.

When we have questions about Wifi, manager took care of it ( even we call her at night time!).

Owners are very friendly and responsible, their hospitality was wonderful.

We highly recommend to stay here!

  • 5 of 5

The interior of this house is beautiful and comfortable. House is very well maintained, all the place is clean and every equipment works just right. Clean amenities are provided more than enough. We even had welcome card and flowers! We get 3 family reunion in this house (the layout is peerfect for 3 family), and spend precious time in this cozy and wonderful house. I strongly recommend this property.

Beautiful property, perfect for a group event. Our group had a wonderful time as the cabin was super accessible and the fire pit was an excellent way to wind down after a busy weekend. Beds were awesome and the kitchen/living room areas were great for socializing. Would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful home in a peaceful setting

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful and memorable 4th of July family gathering at Antlers Lodge. It is a beautiful, quality home - I think even better in person than I expected. Things felt very clean and new. And it's true, the elk come right near the house while foraging in the woods. We had 8 people and the house easily accommodated everyone. The bedding and towels were luxurious. The kids enjoyed roasting hot dogs and s'mores over the fire pit. The chess set became a popular attraction (a good break from electronics). The kids also enjoyed an ongoing Monopoly game in the loft. We took in incredible scenery traveling to both Paradise and Sunrise on different days (a bit of a drive but easily doable as day trips). I would definitely recommend staying at Antlers if you have the chance!

First Rate for a Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

My husband and our 3 kids really enjoyed the accommodations at Antlers Lodge. The area was beautifully wooded, had tall trees, wonderful hot tub and fire pit where we relaxed, talked and toasted marshmallows. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and pots/pans and we were able to get food at the grocery store in Enumclaw and cook a few nights. We did horseback riding at Crystal Mountain and drove to the Mount Rainier park to take in the wonderful sights while we were there. All of this was within 20 minutes of the house. There is a nice river and hiking trail walking distance if you want to get out and stretch your legs. The fresh air, mule dear, elk and the beautiful stars that came out as the camp fire faded all added to a wonderful trip. We slept great on the master bed and heard great reviews about the king bed upstairs and the twin beds in the kids room upstairs. They especially liked the loft-fort too. Cell phone reception was spotty and no TV, but that was actually just what we were looking for on this trip. Thank you for a great stay, we would stay there again in a heartbeat!
