This fantastic vacation home in Paradise Palms Resort will provide you with the vacation experience of a lifetime and all the comforts of home. The home is 5-star new construction and offers a private pool, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 1,780 square feet of space. The private SOUTH FACING pool is an excellent place for relaxing after a long day at the theme parks. Enjoy a meal on the lanai while the kids swim.
Each bedroom and the family room has a flat screen TV. The house also has 3 DVD players and a Playstation 2 with plenty of games.
The resort offers a stunning pool with 2 hot tubs, a tiki bar with cold drinks and food, a kid's pool with fountains, 2 tennis courts, a children's play area, and a basketball court.
Inside the clubhouse there is a fantastic game room, free movie theatre, internet cafe, fitness room, store, and many other activities.
Paradise Palms Resort is a 24 hour secure gated community.
We are a family of 5 from New Jersey. Our 2 sons, ages 9 and 5, love Disney, and we looking forward to taking our almost 2 year old daughter soon. We enjoy using our home as a family and with the kids' grandparents.
We have 2 other properties in Solterra
Stacey purchased this townhome in 2011
There are so many rental communities in the area, but Paradise Palms stands out above the rest. It is a beautiful escape but so close to the action.
The private pool is a wonderful way to keep the kids occupied. Everyone would enjoy spending a day at the clubhouse. Wonderful for families with young children who want to come home mid-day for a break from the parks.
This property is exactly as described. It's well kept and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation -- a small private pool, a large resort pool area, a stocked kitchen, and plenty of room to spread out with the family. Disney is a short drive away (but I advise you plan an hour from the time you get in your car until you're at the main gates of the park...that includes parking and transferring to the Magic Kingdom, etc). We've stayed on and off property and transportation is always long no matter what. When we stayed at a Disney resort, it still took 45 minutes to get where we were going by the time the bus got us and dropped us off. This property was perfect with a toddler. We could cool off in the small splash pool after a morning in the parks without having to walk forever to get there like at some resorts. Simply pull into your parking space, walk through the front door, and there's a pool for the kids to use after a morning in the heat. We loved the convenience and space that this property offered. The resort is beautiful. We loved the resort pool and poolside bar. We loved that a Super Target and several nice restaurants were just a few minutes away. We will return for sure.
This property offered an amazing vacation for our family. We stayed for two weeks and we couldn't ask for more. The booking process was easy and Stacey answered every question I had. The house itself is clean, fully stocked, and very comfortable. The splash pool was a huge hit with the family, offering the perfect place to cool off while taking a break from the parks (without having to pack up and go down to the resort pool). The resort is gorgeous...my three year old son loved playing in the hotel's zero entry pool and the splash pad. The best part of this place, however, is the location. It's only 15 minutes from Disney property, or 15 minutes to when you are Disney roads (though for planning purposes it does take about an hour to get from the resort to Magic Kingdom park gates, when you factor in driving, parking, and ferrying over to the park...and 30-45 min. from resort to park gates for all the other parks. This is typical of almost every hotel if you drive, even when we stayed on Disney property it took a while to commute to the parks.) We are already planning our next trip to Paradise Palms and depending on our party size we will probably be staying on this property again soon! Thanks Stacey!
Well kept and beautiful house. Great location - close to restaurants and grocery stores. Easy drive to parks.
This property is super clean, updated, and in a gated community. Our group of eight was comfortable and enjoyed our stay immensely. The location is perfect for visiting the Disney parks and Sea World. I would definitely recommend it.
Very clean town house. TV in every room and wifi was reliable.
We had the essentials (pans, pots, utensils etc) to be able to cook. Not high quality pans but do-able. The pool was nice to have as well. For anyone going in November, I suggest getting the pool heated.
A few drawbacks:
1. Phone didn't work in the house.
2. They don't leave spices around so, don't count on it being there. You really have to buy everything for your stay.
3. I felt the dishwasher didn't clean well when I used 1 detergent cube... used 2 and it worked OK.
A few great things:
1. The closet had nice surprises: They had a double stroller and 2 single strollers.
2. They had floaties for the kids to use, balls etc.
3. Very comfortable living space for our stay: 4 adults and 3 kids.
4. 5 minutes drive to walmart or publix.
The resort itself:
Unfortunately, the pool was being renovated but we did get a chance to try it for 1 day. WARM :)
It's nice that they have a movie theatre for kids, 3 shows a day, movies are scheduled and listed at the front desk.
The arcades were a hit as well.
Gated and quiet neighborhood.
Stacey was very quick in answering my emails. Would recommend this house to anyone wanting to have a home away from home. Each room is nicely decorated as well.
For anyone looking for a halal market, found a good one at: Halal market or check online for "orlandohalalfood" [12125 S Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando, FL 32836]
My family and I stayed at this townhouse in early December and had a very positive experience! Our party consisted of 5 adults and 2 young children. The townhouse was very clean and well appointed and the owner was prompt and easy to work with.
We had a great week despite the cool weather! The kids loved finding our Christmas Elf on the Shelf each morning (up on top of the ceiling fan, behind the curtains, inside the kitchen cabinet, and waiting by the front door with Disney autograph books). We didn't use the pool outside but we loved the child safety gate and pool alarm! We enjoyed the game room and playground at the clubhouse and had fun playing tennis at the tennis courts. The condo complex does indeed have very close proximity to Disney and Sea World, as well as many local supermarkets, restaurants, and stores.
We have already recommended this townhouse to friends and family and would definitely stay here again in the future!
