This retreat is perfect for couples and small families who have the desire to get away from it all. Come to one of the last Beach Communities that still offers the small town feel. We are known as the 'Worlds safest Beach'. Just 12 miles South of Santa Barbara and 90 miles North of LA. A winning combination of location, quality and price!
Why stay in a hotel/motel, or the suburbs that look like any other, when you can bask in the laid back atmosphere of a Beach community, with the smell of the ocean, less than one block to the beach?
The Condo is located in the quiet section of Carpinteria, just steps away from the beach, Bird Sanctuary, Dining and downtown shops, including our own local farmers market. We remodeled in Sept 2010, so be one of the first to enjoy this unit. Leave your car and associated traffic/parking worries behind. We even offer off street reserved parking.

Great condo by the beach
This condo is one block from the beach and is a great place to stay when in Carpinteria. It was everything that was advertised. Fully stocked kitchen, fast wifi, 2 tv's, one block from an awesome beach. Large king size bed and plenty of beach chairs, towels to use. The owner was very response to all my questions. Would definitely stay here on my next Carpinteria trip.
We take a lot of care to make sure the Kitchen is well stocked and the King Size bed has one of the most comfortable mattresses that you can sleep on (IKEA). Glad to see people appreciate the area and our place.
Quiet, relaxing and spacious townhouse near the beach in charming little Carpinteria.
I enjoyed my stay at this relaxing condo, which was a nice retreat from a week long family get together, and exploration of Carpinteria. Our group of ten was staying in Carpinteria for the first time, all of us. I was so thankful to have this quiet place, with everything I needed, and plenty of space, to stay.
A personal bonus of staying in this particular unit, was a nearby neighbor's classic English Bulldog, which added a lot of personality... The beach is a very easy walk, right at the end of the quiet street, not more than two blocks down... Our family also got together and walked to many breakfast and dinner places in town, all walking distance. Had a fun beach trip staying here in Carpinteria, and I would do it again.
Lovely stay. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
All great for a 4 night stay. Super close to the beaches and to the neighboring towns. Mark was easily available with any questions I had for the 4 nights I was there. We discovered some nice spots to eat and new coffee spots and a pilates shop. Just what the doctor ordered!
Great spot close to everything we needed.
We chose this rental because it was close to the state park where our friends were camping. It is as described in the pictures and description on the website. Clean and close to the beautiful beach. The bathroom is upstairs so people with mobility/stair issues should look elsewhere. For us, the upstairs was the most comfortable spot in the apartment. We didn't spend much time indoors because the weather was fabulous and we had lots of walking around to do! Thank you, Mark and Michelle. Your rental met all of our needs for a trip to Carpinteria. Such a great town!
Best little home!
Mark and Michelle's home is a fantastic place to settle for a wonderful visit to Carpinteria. Their place is in the BEST location, just steps from the beautiful beach, and the home itself is so comfortable, and friendly, and super clean, and just plain great. We were a party of four, which included two teenage boys who were in the area to surf the fabled Rincon....a very easy 5 minute drive down the road. One of the nicest parts of the visit was the ability for everyone to come and go as they pleased, exploring what they wanted, when they wanted, all at their own paces. Mark and Michelle's place definitely facilitated that. We absolutely will be back, and I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone who will be staying in Carpinteria. Thank you so much!
Everything was perfect. The place was clean and very comfortable. I don't think we could have chosen a better location to enjoy our first trip to California.
Shopping is within walking distance as are several restaurants. Park your car and forget it. There are two supermarkets and a Blockbuster video. Walk to the downtown area and explore the small shops. Have a bite to eat at one of the many little restaurants. Enjoy walking and relaxing on the beach. Explore sea life in the tidal rocks. At the south end of the park you can walk along the cliffs of Carpinteria. The Carpinteria Seal Sanctuary is located below the cliffs. The Rincon surfing area is located just south of Carpinteria. For dinner there are family and more expensive restaurants including BBQ. Santa Barbara is a few minutes away via US Highway 101, Amtrak or local transit. The Amtrak station is located adjacent to downtown with regularly scheduled trains to and from Santa Barbara. Local transit service is available at the Santa Barbara Amtrak station (very inexpensive). You can visit the Santa Barbara Zoo and even have a picnic there.
