Sep, 2015: Please note that the only other review for this condo is from 2013. That was not the case a month ago and it will be interesting to see how long this review stays on this site. It is troublesome to know that the owner and/or manager is responding to honest reviews by deleting them rather than addressing them. This condo could be outstanding with some personal attention. The photos are falsely flattering. Dust does not show in photos. Some of the furnishings, appliances, and decor are not currently as pictured and the ones that are still in the condo appear in to have been enhanced in the pictures by Photoshop. Much of the furniture in the condo is tired and uncomfortable. Bed covers are dingy and even had some stains. Bed pillows are pitiful and need to be replaced. King-sized pillows are uncomfortable anyway but when they can be folded in the middle it is time for them to be replaced instead of hidden by too many decorative throw pillows. The extra pillows in the closets were no better than those on the beds and had no pillowcases on them nor were any provided until requested. At least one king bed was missing a mattress pad - the sheet was the only thing between a person and the mattress. There were only two extra blankets in closets and they were well worn and dingy. Sixteen bath towels in a beach condo intended to sleep nine people for a week = too many loads of laundry during vacation. More towels were provided by request, however. Kitchen utensils are sparse. There was not a single dishtowel provided in the condo. Light bulbs were burned out all around the condo – ceiling, bathrooms, and lamps.. That many wouldn’t have burned out in just a week or two. A shade on one of the upstairs master bedroom windows was broken and unable to be raised. All the fresh looking purple patio cushions in the pictures are gone except for one faded, well -used set and a single lone cushion hanging by one tie on furniture that has weathered way more storms than the photos reflect. The condo was a poor reflection for Sanctuary by the Sea,
This was first class all the way. The place was immaculate and my family and I loved the resort. 30A is one of our favorite vacation spots and we liked this resort because it was high end and away from the hustle and bustle of Seaside but close enough to it to ride our bikes. The service was 1st class and we can't wait to come back.
