This is a new apartment inside the recently completed Amapas 353.The unit is sophisticated with a bit of a loft feel and at same time, relaxing with everything you will need from fresh coffee, bottled water, and beach towels to enjoy your stay. The apartment has both a front and rear balcony which provide an incredible cross breeze and always an option of shade or sun. You will be able to sleep quietly with the balcony open and be able to listen to the crashing waves from the rear bedroom. The building itself has only 21 units which give it a boutique feel allowing space to enjoy your privacy. It is located one block above Los Muertos beach and situated conveniently to nightlife, beach clubs, restaurants, and shops in Old Town (Zona Romantica). This is a great location because it provides closeness to the beach without feeling congested and an easy walk to attractions. It is not unusual to spot dolphins or whales January through March from the apartment balcony.
If you are not familiar with Old Town, it has a village feel where you can meet great locals and foreigners who will show you a warm smile, making your stay in Puerto Vallarta a better experience, making you want to come back. Very different from Cancun or the hotel zone.
As of Aug 2016 there is something like 15 new projects in Old Town alone. Most of these are not near this building but there has been on and off renovations at eh Mantamar hotel which is directly across. Noise level can vary from nothing to annoying. However, you will not hear anything with sliding doors closed or at night if there is something they are working on. Vallarta is going through a large growth phase that is affecting noise levels throughout the city.

Felipe and Rob reside in Mexico's 2nd largest city, Guadalajara, driving distance from Puerto Vallarta . Felipe graduated from law school in Mexico, worked at translating documents, and quickly decided to pursue entrepreneurial passions, mainly painting. Rob is originally from Boston and worked for a Boston based companies marketing into Latin America before leaving corporate world and following an entrepreneur journey.

We bought this unit in 2012 and loved it so much, we purchased another in the same building that we spend most of the winter in. It's new with a contemporary design and clean lines. The sound of the waves is something that we didn't pay much attention to when purchasing but now realize how relaxing it is to listen to. For such a good size city, there is a definite connection to nature from this apartment.

Hosts: Wonderful and accommodating.
Condo: Breathtaking sunsets, nap while listening to crashing waves, modern, well-appointed living.
Building: Roof - amazing, second to none.
Neighbors: Didn't even hear them.
Gym: Excellent equipment.
Neighborhood: Short walk to everything.
Cost: Worth it.
Drawbacks: Construction noise, spotty wi-fi.
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this very clean, modern condo in a great central location. We did not have a chance to meet the owner in person, but good instructions and suggestions were provided. We appreciated the easy access to the beach, ocean view from the balcony, gourmet kitchen, laundry facilities and the roof-top pool and BBQ. Would definitely recommend this property and the area to others and plan to return ourselves!
This condo is exactly as it is pictured in Homeaway. It's safe to say that this is a perfect get-away. The sound of the surf will lull you to sleep every night. Rob is a most accommodating owner & handled all our minor requests with ease We'll be back.
This is a great new condo, with contemporary style, a nice gym and fabulous pool. You can walk to the beach, restaurants, and downtown shops. We had a great time in PV and would definitely stay here again.
This review is actually for July 22nd 2013. As I am sitting on a beach in Kauai I cannot help but think of the amazing time I had staying at this condo in PV.
I loved the condo. The A/C, kitchen, laundry machine, and internet added so much comfort to the trip.
I made breakfast each morning and peach daiquiris each night!
The building is beautiful. The view is spectacular and we were very comfortable the entire time! The fitness facility and roof top pool were top notch.
Thank you for the beach towels and beach bag! Big help and we used it daily!
As I'm thinking of returning to PV soon I will definitely make sure this condo is available for me and my partner to stay in.
One of my favourite buildings in Old Town. Steps (literally) to the gay beach and a short walk to all of the nightlife. Small quiet building with a diverse group of owners and renters, nice vibe. Unit is well laid out & has everything you need. Beautiful views from the balcony! Owner is super easy to deal with and very dependable. I'd rent this unit again in a heartbeat!
Significant advantage is double access to building from Amapas Street and road to Mismaloya. The lower access leads to beach and los altos section of town and upper access can take you to more central area of town.

Cancelation policy Strict - Reservations cancelled up until 60 days before arrival will receive 50% OF the initial deposit as a refund. That is , 50% of your deposit will be forfeited . Cancelations within 60 day time period will not receive a refund.
Payments: 50% at time of reservation, 50% one wk prior to arrival.
