We had a great week biking, walking, fishing and just relaxing. The house had everything we needed and had such amazing sunrise and sunset views.
Thank you for being such appreciative and responsible guests. We would be happy to have you visit again.
Such a lovely place to relax! Peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend for those looking to disconnect and unwind.
Perfect in every way
We had such a wonderful stay at far out this past August and were so sad to leave. The peace and quiet here is unequaled. The bikes provided had a good workout all over the island as we explored every day. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the outdoor shower, don't think we used the inside one! Our favorite daily ritual was sitting on the deck reading while the kids were out exploring as the sun set, divine! A true get-away from it all vacation!
Great Family Getaway
Our 2nd trip to Far Out with our boys we were greeted at the house by a nest of baby barn swallows. Day and night the parents attended to the needs of the chicks.
Our days were spent at the beaches on the island. First day east pond for some wading and shelling on the long secluded beach. Day 2 was to north pond to build sand castles. Lastly a couple of days spent swimming in the deep water harbor.
I'd dig clams for dinner in the late afternoon in north pond before soccer games in the yard with the boys each evening. We hiked the island and took in the beauty of a very special place.
When we awoke the last day of our stay the nest was empty....the birds had taken flight. It was time for us to leave as well. A great get away from it all vacation we didn't want to have come to an end.
Close to home…yet so "Far Out"
"Far Out" was the ideal spot for a girls' getaway in early fall. We wanted to stay close to home (we all live on Nantucket) but get away from it all and this house and setting provided the perfect spot for us. The house is clean, simple and very cozy. We enjoyed several nights sitting around the table eating, drinking wine and playing games. The house is equipped with everything we needed for our four day stay. During the day, we hung out on the outside deck in the chairs and loungers and took in the abundant sunshine, vast blue skies and the incredible colors of the surrounding vegetation. We used the bikes provided to explore Tuckernuck and all the natural beauty this wonderful island offers. David, the caretaker and our new friend, made the trip over to Tuckernuck on his boat an adventure and set us up for a wonderful weekend. Suzanne made sure we were all set before our weekend away and checked in afterwards to be sure we had enjoyed our stay at her property. We decided a girls' trip to Tuckernuck after the hectic summer on Nantucket will be an annual event for us!
Thank you Suzanne and thank you David - looking forward to our next trip "Far Out"!
