Located on Middle Gulf Drive, Sundial D201 is a privately owned second floor Two bedroom/two bathroom plus den gulf view condo. (Den is closed off by accordion door) This corner unit offers full kitchen, wrap around screened in porch, Two TV's, VCR and Washer/Dryer.
****Fall Projects begin 9/6/16 and completion expected approx. 12/16/16. Some buildings will be closed for landscaping, elevators, electrical meters and parking lot work. Workers will be onsite and you may hear project noise. No discounts or compensation will be provided.****

The rental property you are staying in is privately owned and separate from the Sundial Beach Resort and Spa. Resort amenities are governed by Sundial Beach Resort and Spa and additional resort amenities may not be available. We spent July 4th week at the Sundial in D201. Royal Shell handled the reservations and did a great job (easy in, easy out, fast maintenance). The unit has a remarkable view of the Gulf from the Living Room and Master Bedroom windows and wrap around deck. It also has a perfect pool view from the Living Room. D201 was stocked better than listed and pictured. It has 3 flat screen TV's (1 in each bedroom and 1 in the living room). The Living Room TV also has a Roku with free Netflix. A very nice touch for the quiet Sanibel nights. The Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and the bedroom closets had beach towels and plenty of extra pillows and blankets. We even found some board games and beach toys in one closet to keep the kids happy. The unit did have some issues like a broken toilet when we arrived, but Royal Shell sent out a maintenance guy within the hour (on Sunday July 4th) and he fixed it, so again Royal Shell Rocks. The unit could use a fresh paint job, but not a deal breaker. The one thing that aggravated me a little was on July 4th and 5th there were many "party crashers" at the pool and on the beach (I counted over 40 of them). The were rude and loud. I asked a few of them in my friendly voice were they were from and they actually responded in Spanish that they were not staying there, but only using the pool and beach? I found that a little disturbing. There should be better security at the Sundial to deal with this. After the party crashers departed on the night of the 5th, the rest of the week was peaceful and quiet. We will definitely return next year and Royal Shell will be our go to booking agent due to their great customer service.
