Beautiful and comfy lakefront home on Big Green Lake at the entrance of the posh Emerald shores area. Has the most beautiful sunset you will ever experience with great views of the lake from the large patio and deck. Enjoy your meals in the screened in room overlooking the lake and lovely landscaping. There is also a firepit on the patio for evening gatherings, smores, and fun. A barbeque grill is available. In the evening, sit back and take in the most gorgeous sunset imaginable. As the sun sets, without light pollution, watch the night sky come alive. Millions of stars twinkle brilliantly as the constellations march across the night sky.
The home has a two master bedrooms each with their own private bathrooms. Both have queen beds. There are two additional spacious bedrooms and futons and pull-outs in the living room area.
You can eat at the large dining table or at the breakfast nook in the kitchen. The living room is huge and the entire wall has windows with views of Green Lake.
There are many nearby activities. The towns of Green Lake and Princeton are minutes away. Or stay home and enjoy fishing off of the pier or boating on the lake. Or just relax on the deck.
This is a great home for family and friends.

We love our home in Green lake and used it regularly when we lived in Rockford, Illinois. Unfortunately we had to move because of a change in jobs. We now live in Salt Lake City and don't get to come to Green Lake as often as we would like to. We all miss it and our kids have great memories of the Lake. Though they do not miss having to do the chores there.
We are married with seven children, two dogs, two birds and one fish. We also just became the proud owners of chickens.
gina muscolino purchased this house in 2000
Green Lake was our escape from Illinois. It is a very peaceful and relaxing place that was not too far from our home. Our children love water sports and just hanging out at the Lake.
We love to boat, Jet ski and tube on the lake.
Cooking out or eating out is great. We have found some of our favorite restaurants in the area. We have fun making smores too.
Absolutely the nicest owner who was so accommodating for our last minute family getaway. Home is a distance from main town areas and I highly recommend shopping in nearby Ripon for groceries and stuff you forgot to bring. Water shoes are a must, bring them or you will not be able to enjoy Green Lake. Also as they say Green Lake is very choppy, you must use the boat lift, so glad we were warned of all that ahead of time. Home is high on hill from the lake, it was a long walk and many stairs down to the dock. Our dog loved to swim, but had a hard time getting back up to the dock. Was looking for something in town to use as stairs to get to the water at the low end of the shore but didn't find anything. Kids would have liked that too, but jumping in worked fine.
As for the home itself, it was very comfortable. Three full bathrooms with four children was a blessing. There isn't a door on the lower level bedroom suite, it's privacy comes from that it's at the bottom of the stairs. There is a master bedroom upstairs as well as two bedrooms that were excellent for the children. We spent almost all of our time on the lake and outside in the big backyard. Kitchen was nicely appointed, lots of room on main level for us not to be on top of each other. Lots of deck space and the screened in porch was great for relaxing without misquitos. You can easily follow the rules laid out in the books, dishes done, bedding off, towels washed or started etc. everything was there to keep the place tidy and all of our stuff organized. I can see why this is a popular place to visit when the weather is beautiful. The sky at night off the back deck was amazing. Deer are everywhere there, drive slowly in and out. Would love to go again and again. Thanks for the wonderful family memories.
Absolutely lovely place, great view, well stocked washrooms and kitchen. We brought everything with us, from disposable dishes to charcoal and a portable grill, yet finding a complementary bag of charcoal made us feel welcome. Property manager was available, and was extremely helpful both before and after our arrival. Highly recommended! However... when we read in check out instructions that we had to remove bedding linens and WASH towels, that seemed like an overkill. I rented many vacation properties in WI, but never was I asked to do the laundry. A number of burnt light bulbs were also an inconvenience.
the home was spacious, welcoming and well stocked with the basics for cooking and linens.
we started out with one channel on the tv and eventually ended up with no stations at all....that being said, we did not go there to sit in front of the tv! it made loud popping noises and took a while to warm up to see the picture ( one channel only)...
bob, the property manager, was on site and helpful. i did have to buy wine glasses but that was fine...my contribution to the cause. wasn't sure i appreciated to have to shell out another 250 dollars to use the boat lift which was manual but it is what it is. all in all....good basis furnishing...trees need to be trimmed to maximize view of the lake....a bit over grown....and deck infested with carpenter ants which will cost more in repairs later than now. still, a lovely home with lovely owners. lovely rural location...away from it all.
My extended family just finished a great weak at Green Lake. Plenty of room to spread out with family friendly finishes. We enjoyed the pier and boat lift. The water was perfect and we spent a lot of time tubing and skiing. Some things to consider bringing would be water shoes as to not cut your feet on the rocks around the pier. Initially we were bummed that there would be no fires because of the drought, but truthfully we were just too tired at the end of the day to have one anyway. All the appliances worked and we were thankful for the laundry. The inside of the house was nicer than the outside. Weeds were out of control in the flower beds. I snipped some that were big and thorny because I was afraid the kids or myself would be hurt. I was glad that I brought extra outdoor camp chairs to use on the upper deck and dock. We ejoyed the town and the locals of Green Lake. The Goose Blind restaurant was very good as was the ice cream parlor down close to the marina. We also visited Ripon where we liked the grocery store.
