I offer an awesome home away from home. It's a perfect get away for any occasion. Imagine waking up to a gentle ocean breeze coming into the apartment as you enjoy a spectacular tropical beach scene from the comfort of your own bed. Then, enjoying a peaceful breakfast on the terrace with these unobstructed and endless beach views.
This beach apartment has recently had an extensive renovation with from the floors up!
This includes a new kitchen with marble counter and glass backsplash, bathroom, queen murphy bed and futon couch/bed, just to name a few. There is also a huge walk-in closet. This apartment is even more magnificent than the photos.
The apartment is also self-contained with many of the luxuries of home; refrigerator/freezer, 2 burner stove top, dishes, pots and pans, silverware, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, etc.
In addition to the breath taking views on the terrace, you will find a table, chairs, and a couple of loungers for relaxing and soaking in the sunshine. Since the apartment is a non smoking one, the terrace is a good place to enjoy a smoke if that's your bag! I also provide you with quality beach chairs, an umbrella and a cooler. I take great pride in making my beach apartment an excellent product at an excellent price.
The apartment is located a block north of the Miami Beach area called Millionaires Row and is 12-15 minutes from the excitement and nightlife of South Beach, yet, far enough away to enjoy a quiet getaway. The area is very safe and there are many shops, restaurants, grocery, drug and liquor stores, etc., all within a short walking distance.
From my experience, I believe the quality you'll receive from me will stand out from all others in this price range.
I have great reviews is because I do as much as possible to provide a great beach front apartment at a great price. As a result I have many guests from all over the world who return year after year and recommend this apartment to their friends.
I look forward to hearing from you.
I needed a place while I was in town for the Adele concert, and the great reviews prompted me to choose this location. GREAT DECISION. Christine was always available for me and answered my questions. I had a voicemail on my phone when I landed in Miami, welcoming me to the city. Her sister checked in with me during my stay. I felt very taken care of. The room was great. I could be on the beach in under a minute. There were plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. As a woman traveling alone, I never felt unsafe. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
We arrived late 9 pm after 7 hour driver and were quite tired. The valet parking (free) was nice.
The Casablanca is an old building and shows its age. The especially the corridors, elevators, unit doors. The condo itself is small, nice, clean with a breathtaking view from large balcony overlooking the ocean and pool.
The place was very clean with towels, toilette paper and box of tissue, two bar soaps, but only 1 travel size shampoo (2 people 3 days not enough) This did no bother us as we were prepared and brought our own but I mention it just in case people expect toiletries.
we did not cook so I cannot comment on the cookware (we were looking for a pair of scissor and found none).
The bathroom is small and could have used a couple of extra shelves. The fan was very loud and could be heard in the room with the door closed. May be a problem in the middle of the night.
Lights are very harsh. The huge balcony was a pleasant surprise, however is right next to the unit next door so we could see inside. The next door neighbor did not use curtains so at time we were feeling a bit uncomfortable sitting in the terrace. Also there was only one usable lounge chair, the other was old and ripped. Having 2 lounge chairs would have be nicer. The same for the beach chairs. We only saw two.
The studio efficiency is OK for 2 perhaps 3 people - There is a futon that takes a lot of room if there are no additional guests since TV is above it cannot be used to watch TV.
The owner contacted us and seemed really concerned about the couple items we reported missing and offered to come by and fix it, but we declined. The annoying part was the very slow internet (wide open w/o a password) that is used by the whole complex.
The location is across the street from a 7-11. The first night we walked looking for a place to eat. I wish the hostess had left some information on the area. This was our first time in Miami Beach so some suggestions would have helped. the 2nd and 3rd night we found some nice restaurants about 1 mile South and 1 mile North. There is also a Publix grocery store about the same distance. There is a small bar inside the complex which is expensive .. (even for Washington DC standard ). The heated pool was nice and well maintained. A gas station (7-11) across the street is very useful to gas up. Overall is was an OK experience.
The perfect getaway place for my wife and I. Awesome views of the ocean from the huge balcony. The Casablanca has extremely easy access to the beach. There is a 7/11 across the street for ice, cigarettes, beer, etc... The owner was extremely helpful and nice. South beach is just a short drive to the bars, shops, and nice restaurants. Thanks for the perfect Miami beach experience.
I've been using VRBO for over 15 years but never have i experienced the level of service given by Christine! My two girlfriends and I were so pampered! A quick list of what she did that was unexpected: 1) outfitted the kitchen with anything I requested (I'm a chef so that was a big ask) include yummy cheese just waiting for our late arrival, 2) left stamped postcards for us to send to family and friends, 3) Had our favorite shampoo, conditioner and body wash. (Pantene and Olay.... I'm a former P&G employee!), 4) We each had our own bath puff, 5) beds were made and had towel "swans" sitting on them!, 6) left a great note to introduce us to the neighbors, 7) FREE parking. AND MORE!
The location cannot be beat. We had an efficiency just off the beach with an amazing view. The updated apt was very tastefully remodeled and pristine clean. We spent a lot of time at the pool and at the beach which were both clean and close! My husband and I are already talking about when we can go down and enjoy this little gem together!
I had spent time in this area before and loved being able to walk right down the street to Astrid's French Bakery (OMG!!) I also love Sanvo cuban restaurant. Other than those diner beware....I haven't eaten anywhere else I would recommend although there may be other good places.
It is great to fix your own food. Just know that as an efficiency the kitchen area is very small and there is no oven. You will have two burners, microwave, coffee maker, blender, electric tea pot and nice sized fridge.
Thank you Christine!
If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay on the beach in Miami I couldn't recommend any better than this. Cozy, clean, and a spectacular view!!! Christine really took care of us! I had just met my now wife for the first time in person in Miami and we stayed here after our cruise. We felt like we were on our honeymoon even before we got married!!!! Christine and the Staff at the Casablanca were great! Trust us you will not be disappointed at all staying here. What a beautiful place and Christine is super to deal with! A really great person! We would live there if I could!!!!
We booked the condo at the Casablanca for a 3 day, 40th birthday getaway. The Casablanca hotel itself (especially the corridors) is underwhelming and farther than I would have preferred from South Beach, but it was a great value and well maintained/ updated within the condo itself. The view was spectacular and the accommodations were very comfortable. Parking is included with the condo, which was a plus for our rental car from Ft.Lauderdale. Uber is a must from here though, beating the cost of trying to park and tipping the valet at night. The Clevelander was a must to go to if you like outdoor dancing. We didn't eat meals there except breakfast, although it has a kitchenette. By staying there, we were able to afford to go out to Juvia at Lincoln Road Mall with the best view of Miami Beach, Larios on the Beach (excellent Cuban food recommended by locals), and Scarpetta's at the Fountainebleu. We were also able to walk 5 miles down the beach to Lummus Park and then rent Citibikes (everywhere along the paths) to make it down to the South Beach Pier at the point. We enjoyed a boat tour of the man made islands and were fortunate to have a little bit of beach time, a break in the cold spell.
The owner was very communicative and prompt with questions. She was a pleasure to do business with. The only minuses were that, although our flight was delayed an hour, pushing our arrival time back an hour to the condo, the cleaning service was still in our room for a while when we got there. Although the neighbors were very friendly, the deck was not private and the walls were thin, only noticeable during cooking times.
If you are looking for a good value, clean accommodations, and a great view, I would recommend this condo to you in Miami Beach.
Close to Airport, South Beach, and Convention Center!
