Casa Ramon was home to eight women for six glorious days. The house is breath taking. The pictures don't do it justice. There are plenty of nooks and crannies, as well as common areas more than large enough for our group to congregate, eat and relax. The staff were like ninjas - they come and go without you knowing. You look up and everything is clean and put way. It's also nice having a 24-hour on-site concierge service.
The grounds are immaculate and the backyard is like a little rain forest with toucans and other birds, critters and an occasional monkey.
There is a beach that's about a five-minute walk from the house. Warning: it's a treacherous walk through the woods on a "path" that's not really a path, but it's so worth the adventure.
Casa Ramon is about 10 minutes from downtown Dominical, which feature lots of shops and restaurants.
I highly recommend Casa Ramon for a girls' get-away or even a family reunion. It's absolutely perfect.
Beautiful home with gorgeous views. Great house manager in Alberto.
Absolutely surpassed our expectations in terms of location, actual villa, and help from on-site staff. We absolutely loved our time at Casa Ramon.
Casa Ramon was everything we hoped it to be and more. The house was roomy and offered many different areas to relax and be with the group or be alone. The view was spectacular and we saw or heard a lot of wildlife in the week we were there. The on-site concierge was very helpful and was always available if we needed anything. We arrived later than we anticipated and he was there to greet us and helped us get dinner which was much appreciated after our long drive. The maid staff was thorough and did a lot more than we expected which made our experience even more enjoyable. The house was secluded enough that we had a very peaceful relaxing experience, but anything we needed was not a far drive away, so as far as location, we were very pleased. There were plenty of restaurants close and easy to get to if we didn't want to cook. We would recommend Casa Ramon to anyone visiting Costa Rica. It was a pleasurable experience from start to finish and we loved the house!
Beautiful home, our on site host Alberto was amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation.
We had a group of 12 adults and one 6 month old stay at Casa Ramon for a week. Despite it raining all day the entire week because of hurricane Otto we still managed to have a fabulous time, which speaks volumes about how amazing the house was! I don't really consider it a house actually, it's more like a compound. The bedrooms are all large and there are three expansive floors to relax on/play cards/enjoy the views, etc. The staff was amazing and we had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves and more. It was extremely convenient to have a rental car dropped off and picked up right at the house, and we had dinner prepared nightly for our large group by an amazing chef; the food was delicious! As good if not better than restaurant quality. You can walk down to the ocean which is a little bit of a hike but it's well worth it. The location of the house is great as well, it's about a 5-10 minute drive to the town of Dominical and about 10 minutes the other direction to Uvita. Awesome trip
