Welcome to Jabel Beach House. Your home away from home! This townhome is stunning with every amenity you may need. It features granite counter tops throughout, stainless steel appliances, and a fully equipped kitchen. The truly spacious master bedroom features a king size bed, walk-in closet, private balcony and private bathroom with a jacuzzi. In addition to master bedroom there are two private bedrooms with a queen size bed each. Also, a loft with two queen size beds and a sofa sleeper in living room. All rooms are equipped with flat screen LED TVs,wireless Internet, and cable TV. The living room has open concept and large balcony with views of the ocean. When I was a kid, I spent my summers at my Uncles's condominium at South Padre Island. I have the greatest memories of my summers while growing up; I just love this place. We want for our guests to build the best family's memories at Jabel Beach House.

What makes this townhome unique

From the moment we walked into the house, we fell in love with it. We liked the feel and smell of the sea breeze from the large balconies. The proximity to the beach access made it an ideal place to enjoy the beautiful gulf coast. The large backyard and ample indoor space make it the perfect place for family gatherings.

A/C did not work!

The property would have been fine if the air conditioning worked. My first clue that there was a problem was a conversation I had with the property owner before my stay. He told me not to set the A/C below 75 degrees because the unit was freezing up. Well…that wasn’t a problem because the temperature wouldn’t get below 77 degrees. Had this been late in the year – no big deal, but this was mid-August in South Texas with heat indices well over 100.

After realizing that the A/C wasn’t cooling and blowing little air, I figured that the unit was probably frozen. I turned on the fan and turned off the A/C to try to defrost it and informed the owner of the problem. He said he would contact a repair company, but nobody ever showed up. A leak developed in the bathroom ceiling from the frozen unit defrosting. The last night was miserable with the temperature rising to 81 degrees by morning.

Beautiful home

The home was beautiful and very close to the beach. Pros: Lots of space, master suite, kitchen, distance to the beach, beach accessories available for guests. I wish I knew, I wouldn't have packed any of our stuff. There's a tent, beach chairs, toys for the kids, surf board etc. It was great to have the washer and dryer. This is a great space for a large family- there's enough room to get alone time too on each balcony, bedrooms and outside. If you have young children, pack less of the beach things and bring at least 2 gates. The stairs to the attic is narrow and has space between, which means a child could slide through and fall. We used a chair to block the area off but off course my 1yr old kept trying to climb up. I would have put a gate on the bottom of the stairs at the entrance of the house, on top of the stairs and at the base of the steps to get to the attic. The only problem were bugs- ants and roaches. Bring raid with you. Jesus and his wife were responsive and answered questions we had. I would book this place again but with gates and raid in hand. Thank you for allowing us to rent your home.

Fantastic

I would have to say this was the second time me renting this condo an to this day i have yet to have any real problems with my stay. The owner is very helpful and answered any questions i had thru text or phone. Will definitely be staying at this property again.

Nice property, close walk to beach. Modern amenities.

Overall, it was a nice stay. I was disappointed in being told we must keep the AC no lower than 75, a bit warm for most people. We also had trouble with the drier and it took two trips to fix. The owner was very responsive. The two queen beds are on the top floor with a narrow winding staircase which makes it difficult for adults to navigate. The two double beds were on the bottom floor. Seems it should have been the opposite. Nice place though.

Nice house

It is a nice and big house for 12 pax. The house was clean and we had no issues at all. They have some beach stuff in the garage such as beach chairs, beach tent, beach cart and so on which can be used. We really enjoyed the stay. Property is as per description and I would recommend it to friends and book it again.

A Little piece of Home

My family of 12 stayed here and we all loved this house! It's just steps away from the beach which was very convenient. I was worried about it not having enough essentials since it was our first time but needless to say you could practically find anything you needed in the kitchen and to take out to the beach (tent,toys,boogie boards, chairs). The thing I will miss most about this house was the master bed comfortness. I slept like a baby. Thank you Mr. Saldana for being extremely prompt on any questions and needs.
