I am a teacher and former journalist who loves the outdoors. Green Valley has it all.
Donna Bishop purchased this villa in 2000
My husband and I purchased this property because of our love of the southwest. It is a quiet sanctuary that we visit often. The picturesque surroundings are breathtaking. So with this in mind we want others to enjoy the experience.
Essentially, I love Arizona's architecture and how it compliments the surroundings. If you enjoy photography, writing, painting or any of the arts, my villa and area is highly influential and provides peace of mind.
A convenient spot especially if you enjoy the market and the other nearby places of interest. Most or all of the places are within walking distance and if you don't mind a drive, there's much to see. Such as, Pima Air and Space Museum, featuring all sorts of historical aircraft; Tubac, which is an artist's colony of incredible splendor; and wine tasting? Yes indeed! I couldn't believe the wine that grows in Arizona. As per the interior, the photos say it all - all the comforts of home. Overall, this is an ideal home base in a beautiful area.
World Class Birding, Madera Preserve, for a nominal tenant fee, temporary membership to Green Valley Recreation with 12 facilities nearby, several additional pools including long course, Dancing - ballroom, square and round with nationally-known leaders, Gambling Casino, Native American Sites and Crafts, Artist's Colony (Tubac), Nogales, Mexico. The nearby Santa Cruz River Valley and Santa Rita Mountain Range, along with annual average 80 degree daytime and 50 degree nighttime temperatures, makes the area a major attraction for visitors, who come to enjoy outdoor activities all year long, over a half a dozen golf courses in and around the surrounding Santa Rita Mountain area.
