About the property

Condo, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps max 6)

Ideally situated in the NE part of the “Pearl of the Caribbean”, the view from the balcony speaks for itself. Literally, the balcony faces the beach, and depending on the season the roar of the waves can mute any conversion. I can only hope to share the wonderful times and conversations that have partaken on the balcony. Upstaged only, by its proximity to the beach. I decided to buy this place after renting the unit below and being enamored by its beach view. Now, I would like to share it with you.

The emphasis is on the balcony, and once rented, then you know why the eloquent description. Nonetheless, the condo is well-kept and very accommodating. It is located in the city-resort of Luquillo. It is about 25 miles from San Juan (30-45 minutes) and all the bustling city life. It is a perfect gateway to spend with your family away from the hectic routine of the city, yet, within distance of all amenities needed.

The condo has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. A total of 7 people can sleep comfortably. The master bedroom has a queen size bed. There is one full-size bed in another. The other has a single bunk bed with a full-size bed in the bottom and top is single, and one adjacent single-size bed as well. The kitchen is equipped with all necessities needed for any home cook meal.

Luquillo is filled with activities ranging from all kinds of water activities to hiking in the nearby fabled Yunque (National Rain Forest). There are several large hotels near the area with Casinos and multiple other activities.

About Arturo

Hello fellow travelers, I am Arturo and the owner of the condo. I am in US Navy. Being in the military you tend to travel often and see the world. There is nothing like traveling and having a place that lets you experience the charm of the area.

Arturo purchased this condo in 2008

Why Arturo chose Luquillo

Prior to my first deployment, I rented the unit below my mine. My whole family was there and we had a phenomenal time. I fell in love with the location and waited for a unit to be available. The rest is history

Can't go wrong with this condo

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in this condo twice and already have another stay booked. We have been coming to PR for many years and have stayed in different parts of the island. This is a beautiful spot, condo is comfortable and well stocked. For restaurants we recommend, Dos Panza, El Estacion, and kiosk 38. The owner of this apartment is easy to deal with and very helpful if you have any questions. You can't go wrong staying here.

Great week in the Sun and Sands of Luquillo!

  • 5 of 5

We throughly enjoyed our stay in Luquillo. The condo is perfectly located for access to the beach in Luquillo. The apartment was well stocked with utensils and equipment and it was wonderful listening to the waves crashing on the beach all night with the windows open (nice gentle sea breeze!). Everything worked well for us in the apartment. Arturo was very responsive, left easy to follow instructions and was accommodating for our requests around arrival and departure times. We ate at the Brass Cactus on a few occasions (the owner JB was very nice) as well as Aroma's down the street for a few breakfasts and of course the kiosks, but most of all we went to the supermarket and cooked in the apartment. Luquillo is a great location to get to San Juan, El Yunque and the BioLumi bay in Fajardo. I would recommend this place to others and next time we are staying in Luquillo will definitely come back here.

Home away from home.

  • 5 of 5

The place is well kept, you have all the necessary kitchen stuff that you may need. The balcony that lets you see the beach at all times was fantastic. I recommend this to anyone that can walk up stairs. If you need to get away from the people, job, and pressures-this is the place. No mosquitos while I was there.

Arturo was a phone call away for any problems. The keys were sent to me as promised.

Take a chance-go on a getaway to this place.

Great time in PR and a fantastic condo

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Arturo's condo for a week in the beginning of February, 2016. The condo was just as described and I would say a bit nicer than I expected. The price is unbeatable and the location was fantastic--the beach is literally across the street! We had a few minor problems that were not Arturo's fault. He responded almost immediately to our concerns and was very helpful. The condo was clean and comfortable and had every amenity we needed (and more). The condo complex was quiet with no loud noise or partiers. I would not hesitate to rent this condo from Arturo again. If you are looking for a beachfront condo in Luquillo, stop looking and book this place!

We loved it here! Great location, great view, great beach.

  • 5 of 5

Arturo was awesome to work with! He answered any questions right away, even texted us one day to warn us there was a rip current warning. Got my cleaning deposit back to me in a day.

The condo is decorated nice, fully equipped, very clean. Sitting out on the balcony was wonderful. Open the front door and balcony door and get a great breeze blowing thru.

Would definitely stay here again.

Just so you know, it's a gated complex. And there is a gate on condo door also. My brother-in-law, his wife and kids came with us for half our trip. He was a little worried about all the gates, but it's very safe here. Gates are more for the unused condos. We had kids and there was another family with kids there. We walked around the neighborhood, on the beaches and up to the Brass Cactus for lunch. All very safe.

Rent a car!

Brass Cactus was maybe 5 blocks away, very good food.

The public beach with lifeguards and smaller waves was just a couples minutes down the road on 193. Great beach!

The food kiosks were just a block or two past the public beach. Lots of good food.

Definitely go to Fajardo to the bioluminescent bay. Call BioIsland tours at 787-422-7857 or reserve online. They take you on a boat and tell you and show all sorts of cool stuff like lizards, spiders, really big black and white bats! And the bio luminescence is soooooo cool.

If you want to ride horses there is a place called Carabali Horses between Luquillo and the rain forest. Very nice place, nice people, calm horses!

The rain forest is awesome! If you can do it, hike to the waterfall and swim in it. Bring water shoes, the rocks in the waterfall are uneven and slippery. The hike takes about 40 minutes each way and is a lot of steep uphill and downhill, but worth it!

If you get a rainy day, the outlet mall on 66 is indoors and nice. If you go to the theatre there bring ear plugs, it was the loudest thing I've ever heard and my husband used to be in a band! We stuffed napkins in our ears!

Old San Juan was really cool, fort was great. We were on a time limit because we were taking our relatives to the airport, but I could have spent a few hours there. Lots of steps!

We you go back to the airport the rental car return for Avis/Budget is right at the terminal. Very convenient.

Dropping people off at the terminal is so confusing. There is Jet Blue area that says Terminal A. Terminal B and C are not marked. Just go to the door after A for all other airlines.

Relax and have a great time!
