Another wonderful week at the lake…

  • 5 of 5

August 5th - 12th, 2017

This is our third year returning to the Charming Lakefront Home. When my wife and I decided to rent this place three years ago, we knew we found the perfect place to return to every summer with our family. Since we live in different parts of the US, this is the only time of the year we can all be together, and we have a great time! And yes, our grandchildren look forward to this week as much as my wife and I do, if not more.

The owner continues to improve upon what is already the perfect spot to enjoy a week with loved ones. The kitchen has everything one needs to prepare a meal for a large family, and there are enough beds to accommodate our growing family.

While there is lots to do in the area during the day – hiking, golfing, antiquing – we take full advantage of the lake and all it has to offer – swimming, water skiing, wake boarding, paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, watching the Bald Eagle and Loon’s fish or simply relaxing on the spacious dock.

In the evening, we enjoy playing cards, board games, taking in a movie at the Fairlee Drive-In or sitting on the wrap-around deck and listening to the Loon’s.

Unfortunately for us the time goes by too quickly. While we hate to see our stay end, we are thankful knowing we will be back next year.

Thank you Thomas for being such a great host.

Until 2018…

House in good condition, with all amenities we needed. We've stayed on this lake before, I like this location as well.

Great winter weekend

  • 5 of 5

This is the 3rd time that I have stayed at this property and I will keep coming back. As always, the home was exactly as described, and we had a great weekend of pond hockey and other winter sports.

Great Place on the Lake

  • 5 of 5

The pictures don't do it justice. Much more room than we thought. Very comfortable and right on the beautiful lake. We went in winter (for pond hockey) and we could skate right out from the back yard. The wood stove kept the place nice and warm, and the hosts were wonderful with their hospitality and communication. A++ Will definitely be staying here again next year. Thanks!!

It was great being right on the lake. Kitchen was first class. My large family enjoyed extended dinning room table.
