Includes free high-speed WiFi Internet, cable TV, beach and bath towels, beach chairs, and even a few beach toys for the kids!
Sunset Chateau is a well-maintained small complex off the main strip, but still in easy walking distance to plenty of fantastic restaurants and activities. The area of Sunset Beach is well known for its beauty, both on and off the beach, and is a great place for a couples weekend, or a family getaway.
Everything we thought it would be from the pictures. Ok for two but more would be cramped. Unit was clean.
The condo was exactly as in the pictures. Great view. Great end unit, you never had to worry about people walking past your window. Close enough to everything but felt private. Loved Super scoops ice cream and Ft Desoto park. We would totally go back and stay i in the condo again.
This condo has the perfect location - right on the beach! The view is amazing, the pool is right out front, too.
I had trouble getting any response before arrival to ask about a discount which should have been applied, but no avail. I was a little nervous upon arrival that we wouldn't be able to reach anyone, but someone did contact me, which made me feel a little better. Before that it felt as if it was completely managed by computer.
We have stayed in this condo before, in a different place, and that is the reason we returned. This condo - #301 - wasn't as updated as others, wasn't quite as clean as I expected, utility closet was very cluttered, pool/beach towels were stained and very used, couches were dated and worn and the pull out couch was extremely uncomfortable, and it only has a shower which makes bathing children a little more difficult, but otherwise would have been fine, and there are no chairs left on deck at the pool, which is slightly inconvenient. Also, no change machine to do laundry.
The bath towels were nice and thick and there were plenty. TV and internet worked well and the basic essentials to make meals were enough to get us through 3 days.
I stayed at this condo from Apr.27th -30th.
If you are looking for a beautiful area by the beach, then this place is for you. Spacious one bedroom condo, with a full kitchen. Huge living area. Condo was very clean. The scenery here is beautiful. Washer 7 dryer available on site. Close to many shops & restaurants! Will definitely stay there again.
My husband and I decided to try a 2 week vacation in Florida for the first time. We had toured a number of Gulf Coast beach communities in 2015 and selected Sunset Beach at Treasure Island. Based on photos and VRBO reviews we made reservations at Sunset Chateau as soon as we returned home. A year later we agree that this particular condo was the best choice we could have made. The condo was just as pictured clean, well- furnished, comfortable with plenty of beach supplies. The beach is not too wide at this location, so access to the water was quick making lugging beach supplies a non- issue. We spent some time under the shady palm trees on the deck separating the beach from the parking lot when the sun got a bit too much for us Northerners. We cooked all our meals at the condo and found the kitchen well stocked with the cooking and dining ware and utensils we needed. (There is no dishwasher, but that did not bother us. Publix is about a mile from the condo making grocery shopping very easy.) The balcony is a PERFECT place to view (and photograph) the sunsets which we saw almost every evening. (Note- The balcony can get hot in the afternoon sun, since it faces directly west.)The second day I emailed Liz just to let her know there seemed to have been a small leak under the kitchen sink for awhile. Tom, the iTrip maintenance man came promptly the next day and replaced the faucet and hose without any debate. He then stopped by to check on us whenever he had some work to do in other iTrip units. I personally feel this condo might be a bit crowded with four people and one small bathroom, but if you will be out and about most of the time, it may suffice. We had wonderful walks on the beach, and the public nature trail at Mansions By The Sea at the second jetty was a nice surprise. For a 'do nothing' Florida Gulf Coast vacation I would recommend this condo and return there myself.
End unit, and interior as described. Have stayed in this building quite a few times. First time in this unit. Floors could use a good washing. Glassware, utensils, etc as well. Elevator key missing. New one delivered by end of day. Beautiful sunsets.
