White water rafting was a blast! Loved the experience of staying in the mountains. So glad we stayed here, just disappointed we didn't see a bear. Great trip!!

Convenient Comfortable Cabin

  • 5 of 5

Ditto on what other reviews say about the cabin. It is probably the best place we have stayed out of 6 rentals. Beds were especially comfortable which is important after long days of sightseeing. I used the hot tub every night for my sore body after all the hiking. It is convenient to get to town and local sights. We drove over 400 miles in 4 days. Day trip to Biltmore house and Winery was worth it even though most costly. Least favorite was hike to Rainbow Falls. Too long for sub par waterfall. Definately be at Clingmans dome at sunset. Will get some great pics. Cades cove is worth the drive and then we took gravel road over the mountain to Tuckaleeche Caverns. Really cool!

Overall it was a great trip and a wonderful stay. Was a little confusing figuring out the door lock but simple once I did. Now I want one for my house. And believe what they say about the steep drive. It you can rent an all wheel drive vehicle, do so! Have fun!

Cabin was gorgeous! We had a wonderful time!

  • 5 of 5

The pictures did no justice because the cabin was beautiful and we felt at home. The location was convienent so we were only a few miles from downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin was very clean. Everything a family of four needed was there including a washer and dryer. We were even able to view a wild bear from a safe distance. Rebecca was also great in answering any questions that we had. BRAVO!!! Will rent this cabin again when we return (hope its soon rather then later)!!! Just wonderful!!!!

Very pleasant

  • 4 of 5

Our stay was very pleasant, it felt like home away from home. The location was perfect. We had an issue here and there with maneuvering the driveway. 4x4 is recommended. I would stay again!

Owner's Response: Thank you, we are so glad that you enjoyed your stay at Cheyenne Ridge. We are located on Ski Mountain with a terrific location just minutes from the Ski Lodge, pools, tennis courts, playground and only 3 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. The driveway is rather steep but it levels off for easy entry to the cabin with plenty of room to turn around. It is a concrete driveway and well maintained. I do suggest 4 wheel drive during the winter months in the event of snow.

A Great Smoky Mountain memory!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was everything the owner said it would be!! The decor was amazing! The cabin was spotless and well furnished. The owners were a joy to deal with and were very accommodating. We loved the location being so close to Ober Gatlinburg. We simply walked to Ober and rode the tram to downtown Gatlinburg. We shopped, enjoyed many different restaurants, and had so much fun walking at a leisurely pace. Cheyenne Ridge is a fantastic place to spend a week or weekend where you're atop a mountain with a feeling of seclusion, but have so much to do down below! We would certainly recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the Gatlinburg/Smoky Mountains area.

Mountain Getaway Paradise!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I enjoy coming to this cabin, every year, to celebrate our anniversary. We love it! We are able to relax and enjoy our time alone. We love the hot tub and the gorgeous view! It is nice to be able to relax and be surrounded by nature, but the cabin is close enough to Gatlinburg that we are able to enjoy going into town for a delicious dinner and shopping, too. The cabin is always clean and ready for our arrival. It is wonderful going to a place that supplies all the amenities, like dishes and cookware. So nice not to have to worry about all that. This definitely a place that we highly recommend going to visit! In fact, we are counting down until our next visit to this wonderful cabin retreat!
