We are frequent users of VRBO and it has allowed us to explore both domestic and international destinations. We love San Francisco and want to share it with fellow travelers. We live upstairs and are a very active family that enjoys all the SF and our neighborhood has to offer. We have a lot of suggestions for places to dine in SF and the neighboring towns. Triathlete with a lot of suggestions on the best places to train in the area. Also, a great location for those who want to compete in any of the marathons or triathlons in the city.
We love San Francisco and want to raise our family here.
Our neighborhood is a great place to enjoy San Francisco like a local. There are wonderful parks, restaurants and museums within walking distance
I have certainly enjoyed my stay at "the cottage"
It is a wonderful alternative to a hotel room-very warm and homey. Thank you again.
Liz and Luis were great hosts. We had some issues with the wifi and cable TV service but after just one text they were able to get everything in working order. The location was great, we were just a couple blocks from a bus line and were able to make use of the transit system. The studio had everything we needed and after we figured out the heating system (again, one text had that issue fixed) we were good-to-go for the indoor climate controls. We would recommend the property to future visitors and will use it ourselves again when we visit San Fran. We actually ran into Luis working in their garage and chatted with him for a bit, very nice guy and was genuinely concerned if our stay was top notch. Almost forgot, the distance to the Presidio was excellent, walking through the area was a great getaway within a big city.
Liz and Luis were great hosts and very accommodating. The apartment is very clean and the bed is comfortable! Nice touches throughout. Would definitely stay here again.
We arrived late at night and forgot the instructions to the lock box. We had to ask the owner to help us into the apartment. Luis was nice and very understanding; he showed us around the apartment which was beautiful and very clean. His kindness was greatly appreciated. The apartment is much bigger than what the pictures display. The neighborhood was safe and quiet which made it great for evening walks and to nearby restaurants. We always found a place to park each night within a block of the apartment, so this was no issue. We communicated by text during our stay and always received a quick response. We definitely stay here again!
We highly recommend this rental!
Thank you, Liz & Luis
Great experience. The apartment was clean, good location, and had all the stuff provided that you would find in a hotel plus some. The only thing I would complain about is that it got a little noisy when the owners that live above started walking around. It was just like apartment living. So if you're an early riser, shouldn't be a problem! But if you like to sleep in, you might get woken up by some unintentional stomping. Otherwise, lovely stay!!
The place is very nice and clean. Walking distance to plenty of places to eat. Check in and check out were very simple. Liz was very easy to get in touch with whenever I had questions about checking in. The place has everything you need. The only problems we noticed is there is poor cell service (this was disclosed prior to stay). This would not have been a problem if the wifi wasn't so spotty. There was also quite a bit of noice coming from upstairs early in the morning. None of these things were deal breakers, just a bit annoying. If you are looking for a nice place to stay for a good price, book this location.
