Best Option in Bar Harbor
This is the BEST location in Bar Harbor for many reasons. It's about 2 blks away from the Acadia Park entrance. Who could ask for more than that? It's about 3 miles from town so that means it's quiet and no hassels with parking. There is a nice beach at the end of the street. There are too many amenities to mention. The patio is awesome and private. Monique is very organized and helpful with suggestions and always available. We wished we had more time there. We will definitely stay there if in the area again!
Adorable, clean, and comfy
Lovely little apartment close enough to Bar Harbor to be convenient but far enough to be away from the hubbub.
Acadia park vacation
We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen has everything you need, the bed and sofa are comfortable, the washer and dryer were great after a day of hiking in the rain. Take your own laundry detergent and kitchen trash bags. Everything else is there. The proximity to Acadia park is fantastic! We did lots of hiking. It's a short, easy drive to Bar Harbor. If you want to want to spend most of your time in the town of Bar Harbor, you might want to be closer to town. If you want to hike in the park, this is a great place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace! We would return.
Perfect place to explore Acadia National Park!
The Mermaid suite is just as the pictures show. My wife and I spent 4 nights here in mid October traveling through New England. This was the best place we stayed over our 2 weeks of travel. It is minutes away from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. You are in a very quiet neighborhood and not in the mainstream of Bar Harbor with the all the tourist activity. The place was spotless, bed was perfect and you have a full kitchen and great bathroom/bedroom. Having a washer and dryer was a bonus. Monique and Joe were great hosts and available if needed. We had zero issues. We were honored to be their last guests of the season. If you are headed to Bar Harbor in 2019 this is the place to stay! Highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.
Lovely unit, great location
This upstairs one-bedroom is in a very convenient and quiet location. Very close to the Acadia NP and a short drive to the village of Bar Harbor. Plenty of beddings and towels for guests’ use. The kitchen is fully equipped. The laundry machines come in handy especially after a long trip. The host and hostess are very helpful but they also respect your privacy. We will stay here again!
Great weekend in Bar Harbor
The property was well maintained and in a good location, a few blocks from the Hulls Cove entrance to Acadia National Park. The suite was very clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Thanks Monique!
