This beautiful 2 bedroom and 1.5 bath log cabin sits about 15 yards off Lake Ontario. The interior is rustic in design but has everything you need to enjoy some peace and quiet. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a laundry room with washer and dryer. Towels and linens are also provided. A wood stove for those chilly nights or sit by the outdoor fire pit at sunset. The back porch is equipped with lawn chairs, a gas BBQ grill and there are chaise lounge chairs for tanning.
I grew up in a small town nearby and got my degree from the College of Environmental Science & Forestry at Syracuse University. I have a passion for the outdoors and I truly love spending time at the cabin, there's something about the calming effect of the lake.
Mark Fiorini purchased this cabin in 2006
I always wanted a place on the water but didn't want to drive far to get there. This is only 30 minutes from my house and 45 minutes to work. The location was perfect for me.
The sunsets are second to none, I often race to the cabin from work just to open a nice bottle of wine and catch the sunset. I love the character of the cabin and the detail in craftsmanship, I'm sure you will as well.
I had a wonderful time, the cabin had everything I needed. The owner was wonderful.
Mark's property is stunning and he has thought of everything! The cabin is very comfortable and fully stocked with everything you need, right down to firewood for cooler nights. Mark is friendly and responsive if you have trouble finding something or have any questions. There are nice rock steps down to the sandy lake, which was perfect for our hot weekend stay in August. Can't beat the gorgeous sunset views!! Thanks, Mark - we hope to be back!
We spent a couple of days at Mark's cabin and couldn't have been more pleased. Great communication with Mark all the way, right up to the day we arrived, where he was waiting to hand us the keys and walk us through the cabin. Beautiful location right on the water. Great decor and fully furnished and outfitted with everything we needed inside. Weather was a bit chilly for June, but the wood stove and ample supply of firewood kept my family cozy at night. The kids didn't want to leave. Thanks, Mark. We would be happy to come again!
The cabin and property were beautiful. The owner made sure it was fully stocked and was very friendly, helpful, and made sure we had a great time. It has a great view of the lake, and is close to Selkirk Shores state park. I would definitely recommend this property for a good relaxing vacation.
The cabin is beautiful, neat and clean. It is on a quiet road with a nice yard and right on the water. The owner is very responsive and friendly and made sure everything was just right for our arrival. Plenty of towels, dishes, etc. Everything you would need. My only word of caution is that it may not be suitable for small toddlers or the elderly - the stairs to the upstairs sleeping loft are steep and open to the ground floor. Otherwise we had a great time and enjoyed staying in the cabin.
Great salmon fishing in the Salmon River or by charter boat on Lake Ontario.
