About Owner/Property Manager

We've resided on the Cape for 30 years; Scott, originally from Vermont and Valerie, from England, have enjoyed working and living here and appreciating all the Cape has to offer.

Owner/Property Manager purchased this farmhouse in 1985

Why Owner/Property Manager chose Barnstable

Holidayfarm was a working farm in the 1800's and is unique to this area of the Cape. Over the years the property and houses have been constantly improved and now we have a special guest house for our visitors to enjoy.

What makes this farmhouse unique

We try to take the fuss out of going to the beach for our guests so we provide a full Barnstable Beach Pass. We also have a great outside shower and a dock on the pond just waiting for you to enjoy.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you Scott and Val for sharing your beautiful home with us. Your property setting made it so easy for rest and relaxation. Thank you for providing everything we could possibly need.

We now have two homes, one on the west coast and one on the east coast.

Thanks again.

Beautiful inside and out! Great location near all the places we wanted to go!

  • 5 of 5

Between the lovely flower gardens, the many place to sit, talk, play games, nap, etc. indoors as well as outdoors, the fire pit, and the comfortable sleeping accommodations for our whole family, I wish we could have stayed longer. It was such a pleasure to have a dishwasher, washer, dryer, A/C - all the comforts of home transported to this idyllic location on Cape Cod.

One of the best vacation rentals I've experienced

  • 5 of 5

The title says it all, this was one of the best vacation rentals I've experienced. Scott and Valerie are both lovely, charming people. The house was perfect for our family of 6. It was extremely comfortable and very well equipped and furnished. The location was superb. We spent 6 days in Hyannis used the house a central hub for day trips around the Cape and to Martha's Vineyard. All 4 of the kids were asking when we could go back as we were leaving!

We had a wonderful time

  • 5 of 5

The house is beautiful, full with lovely details and decor and more than fully equipped (including the softest linen ever). The four season room and back yard facing the pond are gorgeous. Thank you for a great vacation

Wonderful stay

  • 5 of 5

What a absolutely wonderful place to have spend time in while on Cape Cod! This was the most comfortable pleasant house imaginable. The beds were all very comfortable, the kitchen was easy to use. It was great having a washer/ dryer. The sun room was delightful especially for a rainy afternoon. The backyard is so peaceful, with ducks and birds to watch. Our kids enjoyed getting out on the paddle boat. As wonderful as the beaches in Cape Cod are, they can get very loud and crowed...it was so nice to get back to the sanctuary of Holidayfarm. My teenagers are demanding that we return!! My only caution is that the stairs to the second floor are steep...if someone in your party has difficulty with stairs this would not be a great option.
