Lisa's bungalow is a great place to stay while in Georgetown. We were in town with our two adult children as well as our two dogs. The bungalow is very roomy with a nice size kitchen, living and eating area. The bedrooms are large and very comfortable with great beds. And our dogs loved the nice sized yard! It is in a perfect location near the square as well as the University. We will definitely stay at this darling place again! Thanks Lisa!
What a cute little house. We really loved the location...easy walk over to the town square. Happened to be the Red Poppy festival weekend, which was really a lot of fun. Home is clean, beds are comfy, linens well stocked. Much better value than a local hotel.
We came checked in late night. So we were tired. The access to the house was easy and stress free. We dropped our bags and climbed into a Wonderful bed. No back aches in the morning. The dogs rested well too. We had Coffee using the Kerig machine. It was easy to use and the coffee choices we nice. We had some yummy snacks left for us by the owner!!! We love chocolate!!!!!!!!! We walked the dogs through this lovely neighborhood without any confusion on getting lost. This town even has a Great dog park!!!! Everyone we met was friendly. Yes we will be back
We had the pleasure to rent this wonderful property for 2 months while visiting our son and his family in Georgetown. When we arrived we were greeted with beautiful red roses growing on the patio. The interior of the house was beautiful with the craftsman style interior and very clean. It was roomy and inviting. Loved the ship-lap walls and tin ceilings. The kitchen was bright and easy to prepare meals in with storage for food items. The closets were large and roomy with dressers to unpack and store luggage. The bedrooms were roomy and the beds comfy. I enjoyed being able to set up the third room as a craftroom for making my jewelry and being able to watch tv at the same time. The laundry room was large and easy to do laundry. When the family came by to visit we were all able to hang out in the living room and all eat together in the large dining room. It was convenient to all the stores and the expressway. The neighborhood is wonderful for taking walks and the town square is within walking distance. We enjoyed the local restaurants, and the parks with trails along the San Gabriel River. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and the backyard was nice for the grandkids to play. Lisa was a pleasure to work with and we look forward to returning next year.
Cute house, squeaky wood floors, sparsely furnished, kitchen had minimal necessities. The coffee pot overflowed every time we tried to use it. The house was very dirty with dust bunnies everywhere, had short white dog hairs everywhere on all furniture & carpet. Carpets were filthy and the vacuum cleaner we found wouldn't pick up a thing.
We rented this cute little house to accommodate family after my sister's wedding and it could not have been more perfect for our needs. There was space for everyone, and we thoroughly enjoyed the gameroom and playscape in the yard to keep everyone entertained. The house itself is exactly as you see it in the photos, clean and charming. The location was great as well, very convenient to downtown. The owner was a joy to work with - very prompt with responses and the deposit refund, and extremely thoughtful in providing any little necessities for a pleasant stay. We will definitely be recommending this home for visiting friends and family!
