Reviewer Comments:

Overall not bad, description and pictures do not show all the details. For instance claw tub on first floor very hard for an elderly person to get into and use. Very nice master bedroom and bath on 2nd floor though it is open to below. No access to garage to place bikes or extra items instead of hauling to basement. Location is OK but not great and street sign is not very clear since they are just on small wooden signs, would have been nice if that was shown. Up North management company does not respond to email questions since they really do not know much about the properties they are managing outside of Traverse City. Beds are nice and it does have 3 bedrooms with queen beds which sleeps 6 comfortably plus a full size futon in the loft area for 2 more. If you have more than it is a couch or I guess an air bed in the basement where they do have room.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. We will look at including more details. We are physically in all of our rentals and try to represent them as they are. From time to time details can be missed as there are hundreds of details in a home. We do not make garages available on most homes. Many personal items of the owners are stored there. We will mark tings better for locating the rental.

Reviewer Comments:

This was a great cabin. Very clean, pictures were exactly what they were online. The mini golf course was great for the kids! Close to everything we wanted, within walking distance to lake and a public access. Came with kayaks, life jackets, and a small fishing boat. Overall we had a great time and very pleased with the cabin. Will definitely recommend staying here!

The property manager was more than helpful.

The vacation rental was very dirty.

I was somewhat unhappy with the location.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Reviewer Comments:

Tons of spiders and webs inside and out of the cabin. The house is much smaller than it appears. Only 2 bedrooms are enclosed. The upstairs loft is open to the downstairs and the Master BR upstairs has a huge cutout so that you still hear all the noise. Not a great house for sleeping. The upstairs bedroom gets very warm, so plan on using a fan. Also, no clear path to the lake, so info on where to get into the lake would be helpful.

Map

Take a drive back in time to the quaint towns of Honor and Beulah. Beulah is a neat little place to grab some ice cream at the Dairy King, canoe the Platte River, or head to the Cherry Bowl Drive-In for some old-fashioned fun at the movies. This little town features a Click for Honor, Michigan Visit cafe's delis and of course the Cherry Hut for “up north” tasty cherry treats. You can also enjoy some putt-putt golf or bowling. With all this to do, don’t forget swimming at Beulah Beach or beautiful Crystal Lake which is 9 miles long and is just a short drive from town. Lake Michigan is west of town. About 10 minutes to Interlochen and 20 minutes to Traverse City. Crystal Mountain in Thomsonville offers amazing winter activities–skiing, sledding, ice skating! And, in the summer, enjoy the golf and the alpine slide!
