Great apartment really in the heart and center of Paris, seconds to the Louvre, Opera, the Seine and more. Conform to the listing description. The living room furniture has been updated which was a nice surprise. Bedroom faces a side street and is quiet. Paul and his team are good, responsive communicators. Easy to check in (just arrange your meeting time in advance) and out (done autonomously). Clean apartment with the necessary equipments for a few days. Highly recommend for the location!
Perfect little place, easy to get keys, and the people were great to work with. Good amount of storage for clothes AND suitcases. We were 2 adults with a 12 yr old and 11yr old. 2 large suitcases and two small ones were stored nicely in the bedroom closet. The pull out sofabed is very comfortable and has the comfort of a normal bed. The street itself can be noisy- but the windows are thick and make the apartment very quiet. In the morning, you can hear the bells ringing from the church a building over. It was a pleasant surprise and idyllic to hear church bells. Plus, there is a little store across the street and a washing machine for clothes in the apartment, so you basically have everything you need closeby. As far as it's location in the city, it's wonderful. If you walk about 3 blocks, you can get to the Avenue du General Lemonnier which is a street tunnel, but above is the courtyard that combines the gardens in front of the Louvre with Les Jardins des Tuileries. It is a BEAUTIFUL spot where you can see the pyramid of the Louvre on your left, the Eiffel Tower on your right, and the gardins to your far right. Late at night, all sorts of people come here with their bottles of wine, and CHEER when the Eiffel Tower turns her lights on. I cannot say enough about this apartment and what a great location it is. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
i am obsessed with all things Parisian and this aparmtent was just right for me! I hope i cna come back here again and stay with my boyfriend for maybe our anniversary or valentine`s day!
Such a spacious flat in a great location. Just two blocks away from the Louvre and surrounded by a number of cafes. There are many restaurants and stores that are less than five minutes away. It's also in the center of three metro stops, which is great for those traveling out and about the city. I was two hours early from my scheduled check-in time and Johan's team, David and Barbara, were great in accommodating me on my early arrival so I didn’t have to wait with my luggage in the rain. They incredible in ensuring that I was fully settled in by walking me around the flat and answering all of my questions. The apartment is clean and there's been some nice updates to the furniture in the living room, notably the sofa.
Johan was able to accommodate us on very short notice when our other accommodations fell through and was very kind and responsive. It was very cozy, homey, and most importantly, clean! The apartment had all the necessary amenities (iron, board, hairdryer and towels) not to mention a fabulous central location. The rue Saint Honoré has so man chic boutiques I could have window shopped for days. An overall good experience! : )
- 30 seconds walk to the Louvre Museum, Tuileries Gardens and Rue
- 10 minutes walk to Musée d’Orsay and Champs Elysées
MOST CENTRAL LOCATION – tastefully decorated private apartment in the City of Lights.
This stunning apartment is located in the central and upscale 1st arrondissement on the famous RUE SAINT HONORE. This area lays claim to some of Paris’ most iconic buildings and streets including the MUSEE DU LOUVRE, the TUILERIES Gardens and the PALAIS ROYAL.
This is the iconic Paris seen in films, and this apartment allows you to be part of it. You can enjoy the designer boutiques that line the famous Rue Saint Honoré, and you’re very likely to see a celebrity or two popping in and out of the high-end stores. This area also has your high street shops and other local brands in the Chatelet/Les Halles area. All of this and more within walking distance of your apartment.
When you step out of the apartment, you are but a 30 second walk to the Louvre Museum and its iconic pyramid entrance – be the first in line without the early start! You also have the Palais Royal just around the corner, or the Tuileries Gardens just around the corner, where you can recline and relax on a sunny day and people watch the passers by.
Dining out here is no issue; there is a wealth of cuisines and styles to suit your mood. On your doorstep you have classis Parisian bistros serving traditional dishes such as steak frites and foie gras, as well as the Japanese quarter serving steaming bowls of ramen all day long. Beware though, be prepared to queue, locals will queue around the corner of every restaurant to get the best ramen and noodles in town! If you have a sweet tooth, why not pop in for hot chocolate and a patisserie at Angelina’s or a biscuit or two La Cure Gourmand.
