This is an amazing place to stay . If you are a cook the owner has left nothing out. It's clean , well stocked, close to shopping. It is close to a small beach in walking distance. A 15 minute drive from Main Street , a great place to take the family. The neighborhood is very very quiet. It is a perfect retreat for anyone who wants quiet and rest.
This is a beautiful, clean and comfortable house. The owner, Orlando is easy to work with and very flexible with accommodations for both check in and check out. He was always available by text or phone to answer any questions. The location on Oyster Creek offers spectacular water views of the Chesapeake Bay. The master bedroom suite is exceptional, large and comfortable with great views of the Bay. There is also a nice comfy loft with a bed as an added feature.
Our family had a special time at this property. Everyone loved sitting on the deck and relaxing. Also, as an avid boater I wanted a property with Bay access and a deep water slip. This property has it all! I was able to dock my 30 ft boat with no problem and we were literally 2 min getting out on the Bay. The downstairs bedroom has a walk out right to the dock so I was able to get out before sunrise and not wake anyone.
It was also very convenient to get to Annapolis by boat (20 min) or about 15 min by car. Orlando was also very accommodating in allowing me to keep my boat on his dock a few extra days if the weather turned bad.
Overall, we would rent this property again for a future stay. Thank you Orlando!
The house was great! There were 6 of us - 2 adults, 2 late teens and 2 early teens - so the 3 bedrooms, each with a private full bath, worked out great. The water views from almost every spot in the house were so peaceful. The house is in a quiet cove, but the bay is just a few hundred yards away. The private beach at the end of the street was perfect (except for a bit too much seaweed). It was an easy 10 minute drive into historic Annapolis, which is lovely. 50 minutes to DC
And to Baltimore.
Some things that could be improved: some minor upgrades such as more and newer outside deck furniture, newer dishes (an inexpensive set of Corelle would work) and some kitchen tools like measuring cups. These are small things and didn't detract from our trip.
I've already recommended the house to a friend who will be traveling to Annapolis in the fall.
The property was immaculate and spacious. Great for a family of 4. The owner was very professional. Close proximity to needed shopping. Walking distance to a very small quiet beach. I would highly recommend this property.
We truly enjoyed our stay at Oyster Creek - this lovely home is nestled in a perfect spot for fabulous sunrises over the Bay and Sunset to the west. The location is perfect for a quick get-a-way in the DC area. The neighbors are very friendly, and the private beach with picnic area and play ground is good for kids too. We also enjoyed the walk-able neighborhood, beginning a new fitness re-set for our family.
We had a fantastic trip to this property just outside of Annapolis. Only about a 10-12 minute drive to Annapolis / Naval Academy and convenient access to the highways to get in to DC (45 minutes or less if no traffic). We enjoyed the house a great place to relax after sight-seeing each day in the DC area.
The house was impeccably clean and exactly as advertised. There were several of us staying at the house (myself, wife and 6yo, my mother and sister-in-law). We were able to relax and spread out in the house and each have our own spaces (and beds of course).
The host was proactive in communications before and during the stay and I am confident that if we had required any additional items or encountered any issues they would have immediately resolved.
Would almost certainly stay here again if traveling to the area in the future.
