About Michelle Ocampo
This house was originally built in the 1950's by my father for my grandmother. My grandmother chose this site because of the lovely woods, nearby streams and a 150 year old white oak tree that now stands guard in the garden. I later expanded the house and added an upstairs for my children and myself when I used the house for weekends in the 1990's.
Why Michelle Ocampo chose Litchfield

What makes this House unique
The property is very peaceful. No cars or sirens can be heard. Birds abound in the woods and across the dirt road that passes by the house are duckponds filled with a variety of rare species. When the wind blows just so, you can sometimes hear a Trumpeter Swan call.........

We had a lovely stay over Labor Day weekend. The property worked very well for our group of three families. It was spacious and clean. The grounds and pool were very nice. Michelle responded quickly and helpfully when we had issues with the the grill. Litchfield is a beautiful area. We would definitely consider visiting again.
My family and I had a very enjoyable time at the house. Michelle and her husband were very accommodating and responsive. The house is truly a hidden gem.
Excellent place for a family reunion. Plenty of space. Beautiful property. Would return anytime!
I loved this house! halfway between Bantam and Litchfield and next to the Livingston Ripley Waterfowl Sanctuary. Huge kitchen with lots of cooking gear, lovely bedrooms, lots of bathrooms and a lovely yard. To top it off, a pool in its own meadow!
We loved this charming, clean , spacious home.
Great return visit
We loved staying at this beautiful property again - we were 6 adults and 2 children - there was plenty of room for everyone. The pool is amazing, private and unique. We enjoyed cooking in the well-appointed kitchen, grilling, visiting in the sun room playing games in the beautiful living room. The master suite is especially luxurious. The location is very convenient to shopping and to town. We will definitely be back again!
The Litchfield Hills are known for their historic town greens, historic colonial architecture, and stunning fall foliage.
