Relax after a day of adventure in our newly updated 900 lakefront family friendly cottage. Conveniently located just steps from a beach, 50 minutes to the ocean and outlet shopping, and 20 minutes to Augusta, Maine's state capital. Designed to keep the classic 'Maine cottage' feel but with the convenience of modern amenities. The entire cottage has been updated; including new living room furniture, kids' play area in loft ( board games, toys, books, DVD player, movies, Xbox), kitchen layout/utensils, bedroom linens, and private kayaks and canoe for your use. Bed/bath linens and Internet are included. Enjoy barbecuing on the grill, kicking back and reading on the screened in porch, and/or making s'mores around a camp fire. The cottage/condominium complex ( our cottage is one of 9) has a recreation field with volleyball, badminton, and horseshoe pits. There are also several hammocks on the grounds and fire pits on the beach. The cottage as well as the entire condominium complex is non-smoking. Perfect spot to explore the outdoor opportunities the beautiful Androscoggin lake area has to offer - fish for bass, kayak to Black Sand island, hike the trails, and after fall asleep to the call of loons. We would love to be part of your next adventure...

5 Star Stay
As a group of fisherman who planned to do nothing but fish for the entire length of our stay, we were spoiled with the accommodations of this cabin. Everything was clean, the cabin was cozy, and the fish were biting. We will be back.
This cottage is beautiful and functional, with an awesome screen porch and view of the water. We were there in mid-September and it was quiet and private. I went swimming in the very warm water with the leaves drifting down around me...quite magical.
Wonderful spot on the best lake
We try to visit this part of Maine every summer and have rented other camps on Androscoggin Lake in the past. This one is wonderful, and less rustic than others we've stayed in. It was great to have drinkable water come out of the taps (rather than the lake water many camps use). The house is cozy and comfortable with a lovely screened-in porch and a beautiful view of the lake. The beach is right there and it's easy to get on the lake in the kayaks provided. The kitchen has all you need. They thought of everything. We'd go back there for sure.
Everything about our stay was perfect! The cottage was very nice and very well stocked. There's kayaks you can use! It was super quiet and very peaceful! Our family had a blast. Thank you so much!
Cozy cabin away from tourist crowds
We needed a small cabin on a lake close to family in Maine with wi fi (it worked fine for our needs) and the ability to bring our small dog. This cabin fit the bill!
My favorite room was the screened in porch - where we spent mornings with coffee and sunsets with beer and wine looking out over the lake. The large room containing living room, dining area and kitchen was perfect for our needs. A keurig coffee maker was there with our first morning's coffee, creamer and sugar. The owner's supplied everything you need to cook meals, dry off dogs, beach towels, FOUR kayaks and life preservers! Great grill outside! Clotheslines on the porch and outside to dry towels and wet clothes.
On the property is a nice sandy beach, horseshoes, volleyball, fire pits and adirondack chairs. Neighbors are quiet and respectful, very friendly and helpful.
The downstairs bedroom was perfect for us as was the bathroom. Cozy sheets and blankets, fluffy towels, hair drier, and even a first aid kit! The owners really seemed to think of everything you really need to enjoy a quiet getaway.
The upstairs loft has a twin bed, 1 set of bunk beds and a couch along with games, a TV and video games. Though obviously perfect for kids, my adult brother spent 2 nights in the loft and was quite comfortable. No, we did not turn on the TV once!
Outdoors on the lake are loons calling. Lots of islands on the lake to explore. Tons of other birds like osprey, Baltimore orioles and red wing blackbirds.
The owners were terrific and answered the few questions we had promptly.
Perfect vacation in a Maine camp!
Perfect camp for the discerning renter!
I don't know where to begin - this camp was perfect! Absolutely everything that a parent, cook, dog-owner, kid, lake-lover, relaxer, etc would want or need was here. From the super equipped kitchen, to the FOUR kayaks, plush linens (including beach towels and even towels for dogs!), super comfy beds, games, immaculate grill, lots of fans, paper products, smores fixings, and keurig cups, we really only had to come with our clothes - in my many years of renting, that has never happened for us. Having a washer and dryer two doors down was super convenient (just plan ahead with some quarters) too. Local grocery store had everything needed and farm stands were all over the place. The management team at the property kept it immaculate - beach was cleaned at least 3 times when we were there (geese like to frequent). The ONLY downside for us with avid tween swimmers is that the lake is very shallow for quite a ways out in front of the property so we had to kayak away from the property to get swim time. For the little kids that were there, though, the beach and shallow water seemed ideal for safety and entertainment. Jess was extremely responsive and helpful from start to finish, including giving me tips to get a package delivered to the camp.
