Beautiful neighborhood. This unit has great views of the green belt and golf course from the living room and the deck. Very near the pool and a quick walk to the beach. The beach is clean, has great shells, and is good for walking and for children. The beds are comfortable and the decor is very nice. Good restaurants nearby. I'll be back!
Having vacationed in Charleston half a dozen times or so, I can't believe I'd never thought of staying here. The last few times I've stayed at historic hotel downtown, but from now on this condo will be my go-to spot. Hands down it's just a better experience. Everything about it was better than I expected.
The check-in staff at the realty office were welcoming, efficient, and eager to share knowledge and helpful hints to insure we got the most out of our stay. Once we arrived at the condo, I couldn't help but think we were "home." You have room to spread out! The place is - for lack of a better phrase - very tastefully decorated, but also very inviting and relaxing. I was surprised at the high end furnishings, if only because I wouldn't want a bunch of people flopping around on my nice stuff, but I'm glad the owners felt inclined to provide that extra touch. The place was comfortable and clean, bright and airy, and the furniture and decor all looked new to me (look at the pics, they're very accurate). It's also worth mentioning that the Internet connection was very fast and easily accessed. I can't stand hassling with extra charges for Internet these days and/or or dealing with slow connections.
The condo has a garage. I backed my SUV in and out with ease. I always felt safe and secure. Access to the condo is by electronic keypad. The small herd of deer that bed down across from the condo's driveway by the tennis courts late at night are a nice touch.
The beach is just a short stroll away, like a couple of minutes short, and this condo is right beside one of the beach access points. No driving and parking. Maybe the best part, actually. If you're like me you'll come and go several times a day. The beaches - like the streets in Wild Dunes - are spotless.
I enjoyed exploring the island, and Charleston, with this as my base. Acme Lowcountry Kitchen was certainly a highlight; it's right there on Isle of Palms so there's no reason not to go. Another memorable experience was our four hour sailing excursion with Charleston Sail. Mary Joan and Paul Mitchell (both captains) and the private sail they take you on are unforgettable.
I enjoyed every hour of every day for the whole week I stayed there . I can't wait to visit this place again.
Lovely condo in a perfect area. Easy walking distance to the beach. Accommodations ideal for a family of 4 to 6 people. All ammenties you would have at home. Checking in and out was a breeze. I would highly recommend this condo for your home away from home. Enjoy!!!
Up to date , spacious and comfortable condo that is close to the ocean, restaurants and shopping. I look forward to my return! Thank you!
This is a great getaway to relax. The condo is near all needed amenities and is on an 18 hole golf course that is beautiful and challenging. The condo is clean and well kept. If you want a relaxing getaway, this is the place for you.
We had a great time! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The unit is nicely decorated, very comfortable, and very clean. It's a short walk to the beach. There are many of delicious restaurant options nearby but the kitchen is well appointed if you want to eat in. There's lots of shopping close by, too. I wish we had stayed longer! I would most definitely recommend this to a friend!
