Set back in a time of peaceful splendor is a charming 4 bedroom cottage of yester-years. Nestled near the quaint town of Eddyville. This wonderful home sits in a perfect spot over looking the sparkling blue main channel waters of Lake Barkley.
The home has many extra's a large yard for play, a screen porch and a beautiful covered wrap around porch. Also steps that lead down to a great fishing and swimming area.
Inside you will feel cozy and comfortable in this newly decorated home with updated appliances. This is a great place to relax but also have some great fun. The location is convenient to many recreational ventures such as golf, marina's, water park, restaurants, and shopping.
The view of the lake is truly spectacular with colorful sunsets and rolling waters. It isn't unusual to sit back on a beautiful day and see a Blue Heron, Pelicans, and even a Bald Eagle. This oasis is the perfect getaway for 1-4 couples or 2 small families.

The view had us sold!!! It is one of the best you will ever see on the Lake. I guess that is why Matthew Lyon who founded Eddyville and Lyon County had once owned this lot ! It is truly a beauty! Our house has all the modern ammenities but yet so much history. Come stay and see for yourself. We would loved to have you!
This property is close to Grocery Store, Gas Stations, Restaurants, Marinas plus Golf course and Waterpark. You won't have to go far if you forgot something or if you are wanting to get to some great recreation in!!! Our location is not only convenient it has good paved roads that makes it easy to get you back to the highway.
Love this place!! We enjoy our stay here every year. Very peaceful and relaxing. Very clean and accompanies serveral fisherman comfortably. Looking forward to next year already!!
Six giggly old gals met at this charming historical home for a 50yr. nursing class reunion and found a home away from home for a few days. It is easy to find and very accessible to restaurants and shopping in the area. This house is typical for the era in which it was built with large rooms and has updated bathrooms and kitchen. The very best thing is the back porch which overlooks Lake Barkley. There are comfortable rockers, a bistro table and chairs where you can sit, drink your favorite beverage, watch the boats go by and talk, talk. The owner actually was on hand to greet us on arrival to make sure everything was as it should be and even brought us a 50yr. celebration cake! We can't wait to do it again.
We stayed recently with our two teenage sons and this house worked out just as we hoped. There was plenty of space and everyone had their own retreat space since the layout of the bedrooms is very spread out. It's very quiet and peaceful so there were occasional wildlife encounters we found interesting (beavers, deer and lots of large birds). We explored the beach, built a fire in the fire pit and just watched the boats go by from the rocking chairs on the back porch. Beth and Jamie put a binder together with recommendations for what to do in the surrounding area and had local guide booklets on hand which was very helpful in planning our day trips. We liked the fact that the area isn't overdeveloped, but there were plenty of unique activities that helped us connect and have fun together. Having such a comfortable waterfront house surrounded by nature to come back to each evening made for a wonderful get away.
We had a family get together with parents, children and grandchildren. The home accommodated all of us very well. We had access to the lake to swim. We enjoyed the bird and boat watching. The home was completely furnished so we only needed to bring food. We loved sitting on the porch to visit and play with the grandkids. It was spacious and we never felt "on top of each other." We like the location to town and other parks.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The large porch and windows facing the lake offered beautiful views of the lake. The property was very spacious.
We had a group of 8 adults, 1 teen, 1 kid and 2 babies. We brought a blow up mattress and a pack n play to make sleeping arrangements work for our family. This place has a great view, wonderful front porch and all the basic necessities. There is a great yard and fire pit just mind the sloping hill with small children and there are a lot of steep stairs on the porch and towards the water. There wasn't a gate to block off from fast toddlers. But you have to be up high to get the view. The owners were helpful and answered my email questions promptly. The house was very clean and great working air conditioner.
