We've raised our children in our home every summer since the early 1980's. We picked them up the last day of school, spent the summer at the shore and then packed up on Labor Day just in time for the kids to return to their schools in the Fall. Living at the shore has proved to be one of the best decisions we've every made. Our children lived an outdoor lifestyle, learning to surf, sail, boat, play tennis, skate, all while learning the natural shifts of nature that only the rhythm of coastal life can unfold. They also found they pull of the shore drawing them back as they started their own families and now want their children to experience. No matter where your family is in the world, they'll always find a way to return 'home' to the seashore.

Our home is unique in that it's a manageable and affordable property without any homes blocking the opposite side of the street. Our Southern view looks directly at the public tennis court, a bocce court, basketball court, baseball/soccer fields plus you have a beautiful view of the Barnegat Bay, with Mordecai Island nestled between the Bay and Liberty Thoroughfare. We're also positioned in the perfect spot where you can walk to many local shops, restaurants, bars, and amusements, but it's still residential enough to feel like you can retreat from all the hustle once you want to settle down. The highlight is the bay side sunset. While many make an evening pilgrimage to watch the sinking sun, you'll have a front row view perched above the Western sky.
Travelers need to provide sheets and towels. No pets.
