The studio was equipped with many of the modern amenities we needed. My guest and I were able to cook meals, comfortably rest, and entertain ourselves in the space. Once we settled in, I carefully folded the paper mini blinds up. The view outside of the windows contains only beautiful green trees, providing a great tree-house effect..highly recommended. The overall building receives 3 stars as it is still undergoing necessary renovations which at times did slightly intefere with our stay. Overall, I rated my stay as 4 STARS because Kenneth was readily available to assist me with any concern/question that arose while staying at his property. He accomodated all of my requests promptly and made sure the remainder of our stay was relaxing. Once the building is finished, it will truly be a gem in Brooklyn-
The place was nice, Kenny is a fine guy, very helpful. We had some problems with the breaker, but for the rest the stay was ok and had some nice restaurants like Peaches around the corner and good supermarkets. Till a next time, Sam and Wini
Being in NY was an excellent experience, the weather in NY that weekend was very agreeable. But the highlight of the trip was that we had a wonderful, quiet & Safe place to lay our head. The neighborhood was friendly & safe, The convenience of all grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping within walking distance was truly a blessing. The Metro Bus stops right on the corner, to take you anywhere local in Brooklyn, but if you want the Manhattan shopping experience, the "A" subway train is two blocks walking distance which takes you to all types of shopping areas, without transferring to multiple trains. We drove in from North Carolina, and I parked my SUV in front of the building and Didn't have to move it once, till it was time to depart New York.
The Studio was very clean and Well maintained. I did not get to meet Kenneth in person, however he made sure that we were well informed, by providing list of activities, local shops & Bars, and a "How-to" list of where everything was placed inside the studio. The ONLY reason I did not give this rental Five (5) stars is because it was a third floor walk-up and I have a heart condition, which made it very difficult for me. But if your in excellent health and don't mind dragging your luggage up Three flights of stairs?? Then This is an excellent place to stay.
We stayed for a week in this cosy studio. It is very clean, surrounded by green and on a quiet street. Very close to the subway station and bus station as well. Very easy to reach from JFK Airport.
The big supermarkt is about 10-15 min walk. Around the corner is "Peaches" bar&grill with delicious food and nice courtyard. There are many coffee shops, small restaurants and Italian bakery around.
The communication with Kenneth was very easy going. He sent to us in advance very useful information and a lot of practical hints about Brooklyn and NYC in general.
The studio has an air condition, but despite of that, it can be a bit hot during the summer period.
It would be good to have a fan as well.
It was a pleasant and very relaxed stay there. :))
Thank you very much, Kenneth!
We have spent few days in NYC this summer, we had great time.
This studio is full equiped, so you don't need to go to the restaurant each evening after a long walk in Mahattan (even if there are some good restaurants in the area).
Great service !
No citi bikes station in the area :-( That could be a good idea to get one closer :-)
That's cool to ride over the Brooklyn bridge
We do not provide tours of my rental apartments. This is, in part, because they are almost always occupied by other guests. Also, for the privacy and security of our guests, we do not disclose the physical address of the location until you have booked the apartment. Brooklyn is very large borough and it is the responsibility of the guest to ensure that this area is right for them and their needs before booking. If you are unfamiliar with the location, the nearest cross-streets are Bainbridge Street and Lewis Avenue. The apartment is 1 and 1/2 blocks away from the A express and C local subway lines at Utica Avenue, and 15 minutes from Manhattan.
