Tennessee Cabin Rental Photos and Description

3 Bedrooms, 2 full baths, sleeps 8

“Unforgettable View” sits atop Pine Mountain and provides privacy, spectacular views and is only 2.5 miles from Stoplight #6 in Pigeon Forge, TN and about 7 miles from Dollywood and Splash Country. Our cabin has two levels, each with a large deck, clear mountain views and sunsets you will never forget. The large hot tub is on the upper deck and rocking chairs and a porch swing are on the lower deck. On the main level is the Master Bedroom with Jacuzzi, king size pillow top bed, full bathroom and a door to the deck. Also on that level is a fully equipped kitchen and living room with electric fireplace and a 42in HDTV. We use DirecTV with DVR for your enjoyment. The lower level has a large game room with pool table and fooseball and a door to the deck. In addition, there are two bedrooms; both with king size beds, and a full bathroom. Bedrooms have ceiling fans and HDTVs. Full size washer & dryer on lower level.

New mattress in master bedroom 2012 plus new living room furniture with new sleeper sofa.

We have just installed a new over the stove microwave which does not show up in the pictures. In addition we added a new Belgium waffle maker and new slow cooker to the kitchen. From our Unforgettable View Cabin you can get to Kroger Grocery and several restaurants without getting on the parkway. Also, if you are coming into Knoxville from I40 traveling East, you can avoid Knoxville and the parkway by taking Hwy 321 which will turn into Wears Valley Road. Great location 2 miles from Parkway and 5 miles from Dollywood.

August 2011 update: new dishwasher, new mattresses on both beds downstairs, all bedroom TVs 32' flat screen HD now, blinds on front door added, trees cut to make a spectacular view even better. Note, the view does not contain power lines or nearby cabins. It is a view of the mountains you came to see.

During the two biggest snows in late 2010 and Jan 2011 road up the mountain were plowed the day following the snow. Our guests came and went while many were digging out in Gatlinburg. No assurance this will be repeated in the future, but I was happy to see it thus far. In 2014 ice storms made all roads in the mountains impossible and for this reason I recommend trip cancellation. insurance during January and February

About David Chamberlin

I recently retired and Pam is retired from Southwest Airlines in Nashville. We enjoy traveling, hiking and spending time with the grandchildren.

David Chamberlin purchased this cabin in 2010

Why David Chamberlin chose Tennessee

We have been coming to the Smoky Mountains National Park for years to camp and hike. Our granddaughters enjoy Dollywood and Splash Country parks and we enjoy the entertainment offered. Our cabin is not located in a subdivision. It is private yet convenient to all the attractions. It affords us peace and quiet while surrounding us with the natural beauty of the mountains.

What makes this cabin unique

VIEW - you are looking at mountains and trees, not other cabins, power lines, roads etc. We were very specific in what we wanted. It had to have a very convenient location with a great view.

The cabin name says it all!

  • 5 of 5

The six of us were totally wowed from the moment we stepped onto the deck! Over the years a few cabins have been constructed on ridges to the west/southwest, you really don't notice them as the mountains of the Great Smokies just keep unfolding in your view. Early mornings, late afternoons and nightime....we were on the decks. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, the beds are comfy, all was clean and in order when we arrived.

We had an occasion to call David regarding the water shutting off and he had Heather out within fifteen minutes to swap a filter and all was great. It is rare to get that kind of fast response at a vacation rental. If you take your time going up the mountain you will enjoy the ride, althought on a couple of the curves we found ourselves following our own vehicle....part of the fun of a mountain vacation! The two ways to get up and down put us right into Pigeon Forge within about 6 to 8 minutes.

We heartily recommend "Unforgettable Views" and David Chamberlain to any and all!

Beautiful views!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin exceeded all my expectations. The view from the upper and lower decks were absolutely amazing. Very clean with all the amenities of home. The location was perfect and convenient to all attractions. My two grandchildren, ages 6 and 8 had the best time. The game room was very entertaining for them as well as the hot tub. I would highly recommend this property!!!

Breath taking

  • 5 of 5

It's been about 14 years since my family visited Tennessee. It was as beautiful as I remembered. The cabin was within minutes to the "heart" of the town, yet far enough away that you could enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains. The view from the balconies was stunning, a great place to relax after a busy day out. The children, 11,17, 18, 20, loved to spend their time in the hot tub or playing pool. The one issue we had was taken care of within minutes of calling David. I would highly recommend this property and hope to stay here again myself!

Beautiful views and very spacious

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was awesome! The views were amazing! Conveniently located near Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, the cabin had everything you would need while on vacation. The only critiques I have are that some of the lights inside and outside of the cabin were either not working or needed replaced and the entire cabin needs a good dusting. But, overall a first rate experience!

Relaxing while having a postcard view!

  • 5 of 5

There is so much good to say about my stay. First what tops off many other rentals is the view. No matter which backside balcony I relaxed on, I could watch the sunset behind the mountains in the distance. In the mornings, the sun behind the cabin made all the trees glow. I'm a hobby photographer and I couldn't ask for more! The quietness of the area allowed a nice sit back on a rocking chair, porch swing, or hot tub the perfect vacation getaway. If that wasn't enough to convince me to come back, inside the cabin was fantastic, starting upstairs, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook with, just needed to get a few items to cook! The living room had a TV with sat, plenty of selection and an electric fireplace for the sweet touch and chilly eve. The master bedroom had a tv, a large tub and a separate bathroom, very relaxing! Downstairs there was a pool table, Foosball table, board games, and a radio to make the social time very fun. There were two bedrooms in which all the beds were very comfortable, both rooms had tvs. It was truly a perfect cabin. In the front I had cooked out on the BBQ a couple times, roasted the marshmallows, and enjoyed the passing smells of the wildflowers. I have no complaints, if you go to pigeon forge, enjoy this very well cared for cabin. Your entire family and pets will thank you for it!

It was also not far from pigeon forge main strip and very close to the big rock dude ranch which has something for everyone. Gatlinburg is also not far away and being an outdoor guy, I enjoyed the quick entry into the GSM national park, saw bears, elk, lots of species of birds and many butteryfly.

Nothing but a 5 star rating!

Amazing Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We had a great long weekend. Cabin was very nicely decorated and clean. It is in a great location as well. Not too far to drive to get to the many shops and restaurants. The hot tub was very private with great views and just what we needed to relax. We also spent several hours in the game room. We will definetly go back.
